Clean regularly, avoid harsh chemicals, and check hinges for proper alignment to ensure longevity.

There should be at least 30 inches of space between the top of the stove, whether gas or electric, and the bottom of any upper cabinets. This typically provides enough clearance to prevent heat damage and meet most building code requirements. If you’re installing a range hood, follow the manufacturer’s guidelines. It may require even more space.
