In 1993 we began researching products and realized there was a need for an exterior wood care expert that could clean and maintain decks, fences, docks, cedar and redwood siding. Hence, Wood Re New was born. During the second year in business, with the assistance of a chemist, Stan developed an environmentally safe cleaner specifically for exterior wood. "Excel told they could replace my roof without any leaking. First time it rained it started leaking in 1 spot. They came out next morning and attempted to fix saying it was probably from high winds while raining and put a little more sealant on a joint but now it’s leaking again and it’s not raining that hard nor much wind this time. I will follow up to let everyone know if they get this fixed. My confidence is fading and if you got a new roof from Excel Metal roofing I wouldn’t just assume it’s not leaking, investigate and pop a few panels to see it there are any signs of leaking, just b/c you can’t see it does not mean it’s dry underneath!"
