"We had quite an unexpected situation when my husband accidentally fell through the ceiling, leaving a pretty big hole in our drywall. Watowa Restoration came to the rescue! Blake responded quickly, assessed the damage, and got everything repaired so smoothly you’d never even know there had been a hole there. The quality of his work was excellent — clean lines, perfect texture match, and he left the area spotless. He was professional, friendly, and made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with. I highly recommend him for any drywall repair or home repair needs!"

Customers say: Quality work
"Jeff was good to work with. We had a small issue with being able to get materials initially ( shortage of lumber). His construction foreman was knowledgable and easy to work with. The quality of work was excellent with regards to the deck and concrete work. Overall this was a very good experience. While the job took a little longer to complete than anticipated (no fault of theirs) I would highly recommend their services."

"I can t say enough about Jeff Sawyer and his crew. I contacted him a week ago for a bid on tearing out some old rail road ties on the lower level of my lake house. He showed up on the following day which was a Saturday and we agreed upon his bid. He brought equipment over that Sunday morning along with probably 6 pallets of the landscaping blocks and caps (the blocks and caps combined weigh 90 lbs) and he and his crew started 6:30am Monday morning and worked a 12 hour shift in the heat. This project was a 100 ft lake shore frontage on a very steep hill. They removed all the railroad ties at the top of the steep hill and built me a beautiful landscape block wall within 1 1-2 days. This also included grading the land cutting old stumps down, poured concrete tube in the ground for my boat dock cables so they no longer have to be around trees and then carefully laid 2-3 landscaping rock on the hill side and leveled and raked the rock so it was evenly spread out from the top of the wall/hill to my seawall. Jeff and his team did such a fabulous job I decided I wanted him to start on phase 2 of the project as my middle level of the property now looked so bad with the old railroad ties so he removed them as well and added probably 150 ft long landscape block wall where he went from 3 block tall to 6 block tall with the same beautiful Design block (Omega7 landscaping blocks I believe). He even added more beautiful character by rounding my corners and adding a beautiful curved back wall (just breath taking). Jeff and his team finished this project in a couple days. Again, I was so impressed and I loved everything about his work that I decided I wanted him to also do phase 3 and 4 which were the sides of my house he cut down old stumps filled in big holes graded and worked with the slope of my land (hills). Expanded my driveway and sloped properly so we can easily have multiple cars in the driveway and have no issue backing out and fearing we might go down the side of a steep embankment. On one side of my house was even steeper than other areas so he laid even larger rock so they would not slide down the hill and built another wall 1/2 way up the hill that was centered above the curved wall he built in phase 2 just to add additional character and charm. He also added lattice around the lower portion of my deck and took care of any areas that I had water draining issues in my yard. I can t even begin to count how many loads of landscaping rock they laid and of course sprayed for any weeds before he laid the rock or the grand total number of landscaping blocks and caps he brought by the pallet loads. Jeff Sawyer and his team are the most hard working professional guys I have seen at the lake. They tell you they are going to be there at a certain time and they show up early and work late. All 4 phases took just 5 1/2 days (hard working hot days). Know that I had no intention of doing anything more than phase 1 this year as I had already had to have 18 dead trees cut down a month or so before and you don t even want to know the nightmare I dealt with getting that done by a different contractor. Anyhow, back to a Jeff and his crew after each phase of the project I just couldn t wait to have him start and finish the next phase of my project. I am beyond pleased and thankful I found Jeff on Home Advisor not only did I find the best excavator, landscaper and jack of all trades but we now have our go to guy for my next project in a year or so which will be building a new addition to my home. Please contact me if you would like to see before and after pictures and if you re looking for someone you can trust and will do an exceptional job then Jeff Sawyer is your man!"

My name is Kyle with Stoney’s Home Improvements. I offer a wide variety of constructions jobs. Contact me and we can get you taken care of.
While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
There are a few ways to make your deck look new without professional power washing. First, you can use either store-bought cleaners or dish soap and water to mop your deck regularly to clean off accumulated dirt. To clean your deck and remove mold, mix two gallons of warm water with a ½ cup of distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, rinse the area, and then scrub with a stiff-bristled broom.
The cost to professionally pressure wash your deck is $150 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $600, depending on the size of your deck and its condition.
For an average deck of about 300 square feet, you can expect to pay around $100. However, if you have a spacious 1,000-square-foot deck or more, expect that cost to be closer to $300 to $400. Likewise, if it’s been a long time since you deep cleaned your deck, the deck professional might need extra time and to use deck-specific detergent, which will increase the overall cost.
You should have your deck professionally cleaned twice a year—once in the spring and once in the fall. A springtime cleaning wipes away grime and mold that accumulated during the wet winter months, making it sparkly clean for summer use. Likewise, cleaning your deck in the fall allows you to wash away grease and leftover mess from the fun summer months rather than letting them soak into your deck over the winter.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9 per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
