"This company was very informative and up front with what had to be done to my building to install gutters. They installed 144 â of gutters and 6 downspouts. The craftsmenâ s ship was awesome. We are building a home and they will install gutters for me again. Thanks for being an American company that still have hard workers and great owners. They did all this work in 90 + degree heat."

"Greg was very helpful in helping us decide on a product to replace our old vinyl siding. The new wood siding is beautiful! The installation looks great with no gaps, out of line corners etc. Once here the crews stayed on the job until installation was complete. There were some minor follow up issues (damaged window screens and exterior light fixtures) that have either been remedied or in the process of doing so."

"Kyle responded quickly to my request for an estimate. I sent a picture of what we needed fixed. He gave me a reasonable quote and came out the same day and got it done. He repaired a section of vinyl siding that had come loose and ripped off in a storm. He fixed that and then proactively repaired and reinforced some other areas that were likely to come loose down the road. Great work."

"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

The best way to assess that your stucco needs repair is to inspect it, both visually and physically. If you notice cracks, chips, or staining, that’s a good indication that your stucco could use some TLC by a professional. Additionally, if you touch an area that feels soft and has a little “give,” you should consider repairing it as soon as possible to avoid further damage, both to additional stucco spots and to your home’s structure.

The length of time shouldn’t matter much if you stick with lightweight Christmas lights and similar decorations. Those shouldn’t pose risks to your stucco. You should avoid attaching anything to your stucco that could fall because it’s too heavy, which may take part of the stucco with it. Some methods, like using double-sided tape or adhesive hooks, will naturally wear out over time and lead to falling lights, so don’t expect to leave these lights up year-round.

All of the components of stucco are non-combustible, so the siding material won’t ignite or spread fire to the interior of your home. However, it also expands and contracts with changes in temperature, so it will crack from long exposure to heat. Eventually, fire will spread through those cracks. Still, stucco is one of the best siding materials for fire protection and can keep you and your family safe for an hour, on average.

Homeowners insurance generally won’t cover stucco damage unless it’s caused by a covered event like a storm or fire. You’ll need to pay out of pocket for damage caused by age, wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or faulty installation. Consult your policy for the specifics of what stucco damage is covered and what isn’t.

Failing to repair damaged stucco can lead to significant problems. Cracks can grow and deepen, allowing water and moisture to get behind the stucco. This moisture intrusion can cause water damage, structural issues, and mold or mildew growth. Delaying repairs will likely cost more in the long run as the damage worsens, so it's best to repair your stucco as soon as you notice any signs of damage, such as cracks, holes, or discoloration.
