"I am delighted with how things turned out.  The work on the tub itself was superb, it literally looks brand new. The new shower door is great too.  Bob worked with me to make sure that all of the little details were done right, and I was very happy to do business with him.  He was patient and easy to work with.  Highly recommended!

"We were very satisfied with Kotty Windows & Siding repairing our siding that we used them for two other projects: guttering and patio cover. Dale was very helpful and always there supervising his teams. If there were any issues either during the projects or afterwards Dale dealt with them quickly and to our satisfaction. Whenever our next project comes up we will definitely be using Kotty Windows & Siding."

"There were a bit of communication gaps in the beginning, but the provider was very nice and efficient.  He did the work well, found a stone piece that matched our existing piece, and stayed within the budgeted price.  We recommended him to our neighbors already!

Crew showed up on time each day and went right to work.  Cleaned up each day before they left.  They were great to work with and delivered what they promised.  This was a small job but they treated it as if it were the only job they had.

It is to my shame that I took so long to write this review.  I've ben too busy enjoying the patio (maybe not so much during current season).

Nikki arrived right on time and was very polite and courteous. She provided all of her own cleaning supplies including vacuum cleaner and she asked questions to better understand what it was that we were needing from her services. In a little less than 3 hours, she had performed a thorough cleaning of our entire home, including all 3 floors (upstairs, TV room downstairs and the main level). Her attention to detail is exquisite! Our kitchen sink is still shining to this day! We accidently left our toaster on the counter and I think it had honestly been cleaned once the entire time we've had it, but to our surprise Nikki had it looking brand new. We did not expect her to clean our toaster at all, so we were just shocked to see it like that when we came into the kitchen. She wiped all of our baseboards and vacuumed every step (just some of my favorite details of which she went above and beyond), not to mention cleaning between the oven glass and even the laundry room! It was wonderful!

Originally, we were only looking for a one time clean before the holidays but Nikki did such an extraordinary job that we have hired her full time for a bi-weekly, full-service clean of our home. She is that good and we highly recommend her services!

"Contacted Avondale Construction and had an on site inspection and a quote for the work, including options within a day. I was informed of the delivery time of the windows and fencing and work started immediately after delivery. All work was completed within a week. The workers did more than expected in cleaning the brush and small trees from the property line. The workers did a very good job of cleaning up after completion. I would use Avondale Construction again."

Glass Block Windows questions, answered by experts

Glass block windows aren’t fire hazards; fire-rated glass block windows can increase your home’s fire safety. Modern glass blocks are made with materials that can resist high temperatures and prevent fire spread. Most offer a 45-minute fire rating, while some increase it to two hours. Compared to the typical 20 to 90 minute rating for a double-pane window, glass block can increase your home’s safety in the event of a fire.

Their thickness depends on application, but most glass walls are typically 3/8 to 3/4 of an inch thick. Although it’s not as common, single panes of glass can also be 1 inch thick.

Yes, professionals can install decorative or colored glass block patterns for a unique look.

Glass walls are more expensive overall than their brick or drywall counterparts. However, if you need walls for a building with more than two or three stories, glass walls are the more budget-friendly option.

Regular cleaning with non-abrasive cleaners helps prevent buildup and maintains clarity.
