"They did an outstanding job. We had a closed in porch that needed refinished. Dan described what he thought would work and gave us a reasonable quote. The work was done quickly and as promised. They cleaned up after they were finished and moved our furniture back into the room. We love the way the room looks now."

"Terry was very informative and provided lots of input during the initial design process to help us determine the best use of our space. He is very thorough and kept us informed during the construction process. Marty, is a great installer and was very tidy and meticulous with his work. Jeff from Monarch Concrete is great to work with as well. His team did a great job forming our new concrete patio and finishing it. We love our new deck and patio and would recommend Terry and his team at Essential Extras to anyone who needs this type of installation."

"My yard has never looked better, a friend recommended Imagine Restorations to me a few weeks ago, I called them and I find out that they are owned by a Dad and 2 sons, River and Ryan, who is can't brag on enough, super professional, on time and superb workmanship, they went over and beyond for us, we ended up going for a cedar picket shadow box fence, they even out bid a close friend of mine, they did all this in 2 days practically, the wood was delivered a day in a half late so they had to improvise, if you need a fence or need a fence repaired, call Ryan or River over at Imagine Restorations. RIVER- (816)598-7860 and RYAN (573)289-9721... you won't regret doing business with these guys."

"Kyle is a very knowledgeable, skilled and customer satisfaction oriented service professional. He and his team provided excellent results when they made repairs to a staircase treads and risers; installed wall and handrails; iron spindles; newel post to include staircase trim work. He finished the job in one day at a very fair price. I highly recommend Blaurock Construction!"

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.
