"I hired George to take down and remove a 13x27 foot cabin on my property, deliver 95 tons of gravel to my site, and install a culvert underneath my road into the cabin site. George did a fantastic job with the demolition. He coordinated the delivery and pickup of the dumpster, he called the electric company to make sure there were no issues with disconnecting the power from the cabin, and had everything lined up for the start of the project. He cleaned up and removed all the cabin debris, the site was very clean upon completion. The culvert job and gravel delivery was great as well. I would highly recommend hiring George for any type of work in these areas, as he seems to be an honest man, and does a great job in a timely manner."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

To keep land surveying projects safe in Nevada, secure pets indoors and clearly mark any hazards like wells or uneven ground before work begins. Notify the survey team about children or pets on-site and establish safe zones away from equipment. Double-check for underground utilities before digging. For rural properties, supervise children near wooded areas or water, and communicate any specific safety concerns to your surveyor.

Helpful?

When planning land surveying in Nevada, consider seasonal weather, as spring and fall offer better conditions for clear measurements. Dense vegetation may need trimming for accurate access. Review local zoning and permitting requirements, especially if your property is near historic districts or water features. Surveyor availability can fluctuate with demand, so schedule early. Proximity to farmland or lakes may also affect survey complexity and timing.

Helpful?

Combining land surveying with upgrades like home additions, utility installations, or major landscaping in Nevada can streamline your project. Coordinating surveys with construction helps ensure accurate property lines, simplifies permitting, and reduces delays. Planning multiple improvements together allows for efficient contractor scheduling and minimizes site disruption. Aligning these projects during favorable weather also helps you make the most of local resources and timelines.

Helpful?

In Nevada, land surveying for cosmetic projects like landscaping or fence installation centers on confirming property boundaries and setback lines for visual improvements. Functional projects—such as new home builds or grading—require detailed topographical surveys, precise measurements, and compliance with zoning codes. These functional surveys often involve site plans and coordination with local agencies to ensure safety, drainage, and long-term property value.

Helpful?

For land surveying in Nevada, gather your property deed, legal description, and any previous boundary survey records. Document visible property markers and note any changes in land use or structures. Identify utility line locations and check for easements or right-of-way access. Understanding topographical features and floodplain status, especially near creeks, helps your surveyor create accurate property boundaries and address unique site conditions.
