"Chaos Cleaning Crew were so professional and respectful. Our family had a very difficult clean up junk removal job and they were definitely the we’re the only reason we were able to get it done. We were on a very aggressive timeline and they managed it perfectly. Their trailer was very large and just what was needed for the job. Bill and his crew were quick and did a very complete job. Simply depress this reset button to reset the unit, and then test to ensure it’s working about 10 minutes later.

Generally speaking, it’s absolutely worth it to repair a garbage disposal, so long as it’s eight years old or younger. Once you pass that eight-year threshold, it depends on the issue. If it’s a simple jam and the core components remain unaffected, call a local plumber for a quick repair. If it seems like the motor is wearing down, spring for a replacement unit. 

The main issue with garbage disposals is clogging. This can mean a clogging of the pipes that expel the food along with water, or a clogging of the mechanical parts themselves. The problem lies in the solution because you can’t easily see clogs if they’re inside the system, and reaching in to dislodge stuck items is a risky proposal. Call a pro and ask what they would do, but if you can’t see the clog easily, and running the unit won’t free it, you need to let a professional handle the fix.
