"It did not take long for us to know we made the perfect decision in choosing Harris Renovations for our bathroom remodel! Casey and Wendy both came to our home for the original consultation. The decision, in my mind, was made that day even prior to the estimate. We had never met either of them, I had only based contacting them on their previous reviews. We can say with all honesty, there was no fluff added to anything we had read. This is a time when things were actually as good as they appeared to be! Casey is a true craftsman. This is evident in not only his attention to detail but his artistry. He was able to transform my discombobulated thoughts into a beautiful guest bathroom! Wendy, the glue, the therapist, the designer, the bargain hunter, the make-it-happen gal! She held my hand through the entire process and made an experience that neither of us were looking forward to - dare I say fun! We have a 4-5 year plan for our home remodeling goals and knowing that weâ ve got Harris Renovations to return to throughout the process brings an excitement and security to those goals. Remodeling is not cheap but, being 100% satisfied with the finished product makes the saving over the years well worth it! Thank you Casey, Wendy, & crew for an amazing renovation to our home! Emergency services offered

"The service worked out good. They came out and did their job. The first day, I think we had to reschedule, but once they started working, they were right on-time, got it done, and they cleaned-up after themselves. I did ask them a question to see about something else and they never got back to me about that. So, they never did a follow-up once they had completed their job. I guess they just moved on and I had two more small jobs I thought he could handle, but he never came back to follow-up on those. The price was a really good price. It was a special so it was not their normal price. It looks good."

Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

You can stack upper kitchen cabinets, but they may not fit neatly. Because upper kitchen cabinets are typically available in these standard sizes—12, 15, 18, 24, 30, 36, and 42 inches—you can stack various-sized upper cabinets. But, depending on your ceiling height, these standard sizes may not work together. That’s why smaller stacked cabinets are a much more stylish and economical choice.

Since melamine is a type of laminate, both types of cabinets are similar in features and benefits, but they also differ in some ways. Melamine is generally more affordable than laminate, while also being resistant to scratches, stains, and heat. However, melamine cabinets are also heavier and may easily splinter during installation. All in all, the choice between melamine and laminate cabinets will depend on your specific needs.

Typically, a medicine cabinet should be installed about 60 to 72 inches above the floor. This height ensures that it's easily accessible for most individuals while allowing for proper visibility and convenience. However, the ideal height may vary based on individual preferences and the average eye level of the users in your household.

If you’re brave enough to tackle building your own cabinet bases, you’re brave enough to install them yourself. You’ll need a stud finder to get you started, but the installation will be a breeze if you’ve already done all the hard work to build the cabinet bases yourself. If you’re hanging upper cabinets, you’ll need a helper, though, to balance the weight of the cabinets and make the process easier.

We recommend installing wall cabinets first so the base cabinets aren’t in the way. This order also prevents damage to the base cabinets if you drop tools or materials when installing the upper cabinets.
