"We are really happy with our new shower. Jeff and Frank were really helpful with our tile color selection and picking out the drain valve replacement kit. The plumber and tilers did and excellent job. We are very pleased with the results and would use The Tub Company again.

"Mario came to the house during a rain storm so he could see our drainage problems.  As we walked the property in the rain he explained what needed to be done and then took measurements.  He dried off, came in, wrote up what he was going to do and gave me a price that was significantly lower than other bids I had received.  He said he would be back within 2 weeks to do the job and that it would take a day to a day and a half.
He actually showed up a day earlier than he said he would.  He and a crew of 6 showed up shortly after 7:00am and started right in.  They worked till after 6:00pm in 90+ degree heat and apologized that they did not get done and would have to come back the next day to finish.  Mario worked right beside his crew most of the day.  Bright and early the next morning 3 of the crew showed up and had everything finished before noon.  While they were cleaning up Mario replaced one defective sprinkler heads and checked all of the sprinkler heads to be sure everything was OK.
Mario and his crew were very polite and courteous.  He is very honest and does not give you a bunch of double talk.  They picked up all trash and debris and when they left you could hardly tell that they had been here.  I had the same experience when he installed my sprinkler system 4 years ago.

"We had used Johnson and Johnson last year to install a Sump Pump and drain tiles in our basement. After a very heavy rain, we decided we better have a Backup Sump Pump installed in case the power went out which usually happens during a rain storm. Johnson and Johnson installed the Backup Sump Pump very quickly. We highly recommend them."

"Excellent experience. Drake arrived as scheduled and went to work immediately. He sealed off the bathroom which kept dust from escaping. The process took about hours. The tub looks wonderful, much better than I expected. I would definitely hire them again and I do recommend them. They are professional, courteous and they clean up after the job is complete."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

The cost to repair a main sewer line clog is about $3,110 on average. The average cost range is  $1,310 to $4,950, but it can go as low as $215 and as high as $9,300 or more. The cost factors for this repair include the severity of the clog, pipe accessibility, video inspection, removal method, permits, pipe material, labor rates in your area, and time of year. Repairs made from outside during the winter can be more difficult due to the frozen ground or during the spring if the ground is saturated from a lot of rain and snow melt.

Regrading your yard can often fix drainage problems. You can also try aerating the lawn to encourage better drainage or install a new drainage system to prevent water from pooling in certain areas.

In the majority of cases, homeowners insurance will not cover a main sewer line root clog. The reason is that most insurance companies consider tree root damage to sewer lines as common wear and tear, which is also preventable. However, you may be able to buy optional add-on coverage, such as "service line coverage" or "sewer line endorsements," that would protect against root damage to your sewer line.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

No. You should never pour old paint down a drain or sewer because it can clog pipes and pollute the environment. You must dispose of paint properly and safely. Different types of paint need to be disposed of in different ways—oil-based paints must be taken to a paint recycling center, while you can throw dried-out water- or latex-based paints in the garbage.
