He did a good job, although if you look closely you can still see the shadow of some of the spots left by my cats throwing up.  He explained that cat food has dyes in it, and sometimes the dyes actually dye the carpet and it won't come out.  Both carpets look a lot better, and I would definitely have them back again.  I will probably call them back later to clean my upholstered furniture.
