"I called in mid-February to get a quote on 2 new garage doors and 2 new garage door openers. I talked to Jimmy and he gave me a verbal quote, then had someone come out that evening to check everything and provide me a quote in writing (same quote as over the phone). After I was ready to get the doors, I called on 3/22/18. The doors were scheduled to be installed the next day. I had one person arrive during tshe scheduled time, and he began the disassembly of the old doors. About an hour later, 2 more people came to help him and they were done in less than three hours. "Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."
