"As a new home owner, I am more the thrilled by the high quality of work done by Indian Summer Pool and Spa. I called Doug Fender (one of the owners), who made an immediate appointment with me to discus my plans to expand my patio, along with three other companies. Doug when through all available options, costs and expectations on the job I wanted done. Not only did he have a great team of employee's show up on time, they had everything organized from ground prep, rock deliver, concrete delivery, and temporary fencing down to the minute. I was very impressed with the owners showing up to make sure that I as a home owner was happy with each step of the process and that every employee was very efficient and knew their area of expertise. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on a project you want done right. Just a note not only did the come in on budget, but the other companies I called did not have any where the game plans or explain the details of what to expect. This is a company you will be happy with."

"Outdoor Oasis is absolutely outstanding! They installed a beautiful 20 x 40 inground pool with four waterfalls and also did the stamp concrete around. Jason the owner is always available for a phone call or questions I had in the beginning and never seemed like I was bothering him with silly questions ! The crew was very professional. "They only charge a flat rate for any basic service so if the AC goes out i call them and they charge a flat rate to service it. If it has to be replaced they pay up to a certain amount and if it goes over i pay a prorated fee."

  • Before using the hot tub, have a certified electrician thoroughly inspect your hot tub and its wiring to make sure you’re in full compliance with all applicable local building codes. 

If you want to have a chemical-free spa, or if you are wondering how to keep your hot tub clean naturally, there are several options. Some individuals choose to run their hot tub without treatment at all and simply clean it more often (although you risk bacteria, fungi, and algae growth if you take this route); others use natural products like vinegar or Borax. Ozone, ultraviolet light, and electrolysis systems are also eco-friendly ways to have a clean hot tub without chemicals. Saltwater hot tubs are popular with people who are sensitive to chlorine, bromine, and other traditional hot tub chemicals.

Hot tub repairs cost between $200 and $500 on average. You can minimize those costs by maintaining your hot tub and keeping necessary supplies on hand. An elevated shelf in the garage is a great place to store your water care chemicals so that kids and pets will stay safe and you’ll always have them around. 

Your hot tub should be drained of existing water, cleaned, and refilled every three to four months at a minimum. Follow your tub manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning, and rinse thoroughly when finished to eliminate any residue from the cleaning products. Though a hot tub has many benefits, there are a few cons. Mainly, hot tubs require a lot of maintenance. You’ll need to deep clean yours quarterly, test the pH at least once or twice a week, and add sanitizing chemicals once a week. They also have relatively high ongoing costs since you’ll need to pay for electricity and repairs. 

You can and should use a hose to fill a hot tub. There shouldn’t be anything special about the hose other than it shouldn’t be damaged. Kinks or leaks could slow down the filling process. Attach the hose to the nearest spigot and get the water flowing.
