"I had an absolutely amazing experience with Trident Bath and Shower! They came in and completely transformed my old, unappealing shower into a beautiful, modern walk-in shower that I can’t stop admiring. The entire process was straightforward, quick, and easy — from the very first consultation to the final installation, everything went smoothly. The design consultant was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helped me choose the perfect style for my space. The installers were punctual, hardworking, and clearly took pride in their work. "Hal is a bit of a character and drives an old truck, but he is very pleasant and takes great pride in his workmanship. One of the few times in our history of several home projects where a project has exceeded our expectations."

"Steamboat Plumbing's owner Luke Ewert exceeded my expectations! He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional, taking extra time to ensure I understood my new water softener's operation, including navigating cycles and settings. He also walked me through shutting down my cabin's plumbing system for the fall, allowing me to video record the process. Luke's clear explanations, patience, and personal touch made the experience seamless. His dedication to customers is impressive. I appreciated the opportunity to chat with him about his background and family, which added a nice touch to the service. I highly recommend Steamboat Plumbing and Luke Ewert for exceptional service, expertise, and customer care. I will definitely use Steamboat Plumbing again in the future!"

"Bryan with Kaduce provided a range of options for replacing our system. He walked us through the costs and benefits of each option for our cabin. The install crew was friendly and did a good job installing they mini-split system we selected. They also completed the rebate process with the power company and registered our system with Carrier. The system is operating great. Very comfortable and much more energy efficient than our previous heating and cooling system. I would definitely choose Kaduce again."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, most installation services include the removal and disposal of old doors, which can include storm doors. It is best to confirm the specifics with your provider or installer.

Storm door panels are typically made from tempered or laminated glass, and each type has its benefits. Tempered glass goes through a special heating and cooling process, increasing its strength and durability. It’s known for its safety features—when it breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces rather than sharp shards. Laminated glass is made by sandwiching a layer of plastic between two layers of glass. This interlayer holds the glass pieces together even when shattered, preventing them from scattering.

Professional installation ensures a secure fit, energy efficiency, and proper functionality, avoiding misalignment and air leaks.

Most homeowners can expect to pay between $186 and $680, with the cost of installing storm doors averaging $432, including both materials and installation. Labor costs range from $75 to $400, depending on the complexity of the job; however, paying for a professional helps save you time and ensures proper installation. If you go the DIY route, you could spend anywhere from $250 to $1,000 for just the labor kit, which includes the door and hardware. You’ll also need to budget for tools, like a power drill and level, if you don’t already have them.

The benefits of a storm door include providing extra protection against severe weather, improving your home's insulation, and helping to keep pests out. They also add an extra layer of security to your entry door and can enhance your home's curb appeal.
