Customers say: Quick response

"Peak Remodel & Design helped us navigate the damage left behind from the June 2019 storms in this area. The were caring and compassionate, thorough with explanations and ideas. They worked directly with our home owners Insurance provider. Jordan Seim was fantastic with sales, and readily available to answer any questions we had. Brandon Miller explained projects thoroughly and checked in often on the crews performing the tasks, ensuring things were done properly. I would recommend Peak to anyone and will likely hire them again in the future. Their roofing crew were absolutely AMAZING Roof Ninja's!"

They made the whole process so easy, and the quality of their work really shows. We couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out. "I am having a full master bath and kitchen remodel done with new layouts in both rooms and knocking out a wall. Evolution worked with me to quickly get a drawing done of the new layouts so that the contractor could get started on the project. They made sure to include me in the process so that the design would be done exactly as my wife and I envisioned. They communicated effectively throughout the process and were always courteous and professional. I recommend them to anyone with drafting needs."

"We liked that they worked with out insurance company to get the most bang for our buck. Workers were very friendly. They took the time to make sure the house looked just the way it should. It looked way better than the last time we sided it."

"It has been a joy having Valerie over here for a quote on my remodel. She was very professional and thorough on the process. She made sure there was complete transparency. She tried everything she could in her power to help me and even though we didn't come to a deal, I left with a lot more knowledge. Thank you Valerie."

"Purchased coupon on August 11, 2011.  Because I was remodeling my kitchen myself after work and weekends, I didn't have time to deal with the creating the room drafts, plans, layouts or measurements she required.  I did contact Jill and explain the situation and she was very understanding.  She said because I contacted her, not to worry about the deadline.  I remained in contact with her over the next few years (that's how long it took me) and when I was ready around the start of 2014, she worked hard to provide her new design.
A true professional and great person to work with.  The design was spot on and my wife and i were very impressed.  Thank you Jill.

"We did a fair amount of looking around for this work and Envirobate was the simplest and easiest to work with, ranging from scheduling an estimate to scheduling the work, to getting a fair price. Other service providers either gave us lung cancer scare tactics with high prices or couldn't seem to manage their calendar. Our estimate was very competitive and they seemed lik a quality company. We had the work done in two separate pieces since we needed to move everything in the basement to one side. Note: they will move minor things, but they do not unhook major appliances (like our gas dryer), which we needed to do ourselves. They were very careful to cover everything and used a giant air filtration machine. It was somewhat noisy. The guys were talking to each other and listening to the radio. It's definitely a messy job and I'm glad they seemed comfortable with handling the materials in that environment. The orange smell from the mastic remover was very strong. When I lit my kitchen's gas stove, it smelled funny which worried me. The orange smell lasted for weeks so be sure to ventilate as much as possible. I gave a couple B ratings because, as a consumer living with asbestos, I wanted a little more comfort that this stuff was really GONE from my home. While they seemed relaxed about it, I almost wanted more reassurance that the process they used was safe for my health during and also after once all the protective plastic was gone. However, I know asbestos abatement certification is required and they must be fully trained to be employed in this business. Overall, I'm thankful the tiles are gone, the price was fair, and the process simple. I would recommend them to anyone needing this work done at a reasonable rate."

Remodel Design questions, answered by experts

Balancing aesthetics with functionality amidst space planning is important. To do so, you could consider consulting both an interior designer and an architect to fulfill both these needs. Or you can tackle it on your own by prioritizing personal touches amidst space planning that add to the look but don't take away from the livability of the space.

Check reviews, compare quotes, and verify licensing. Ensure the builder has experience with modular construction.

Yes, you can draw your own deck plans in many cases. However, you must know your local building codes and be familiar with carpentry principles. Even then, it's always best to run your plans by a professional contractor with experience building decks, whether you choose to DIY some of the build or not.

Blueprints are generally available for houses built after the early 1900s. Before then, detailed building schematics like blueprints were rarely used and even more rarely saved. If you have an older house and need blueprints, you can have a new set drawn up by an architect or draftsperson.

The early stages of building a house are harder than the later stages; laying the foundation and framing the house are two of the most challenging steps. However, it varies for everyone. Some people have difficulty installing HVAC, plumbing, and electricity, while others find it harder to plan the house and secure the necessary permits.
