"Be careful about the warranty on their work - they do not stand behind it. They emphasize a 5 year warranty, but that is for parts only. Anything after 30 days will require both trip fees and labor fees (e.g. you can pay for them to confirm they screwed up). Long story short, they completely undersized the springs on my repair. "Service" manager spent more time gaslighting me on the phone than it would have taken for a tech to come out and quickly see they botched the job. Not only did it cost me a redo from another reputable company, but a replacement for the garage door opener, which stripped out under the load of the door on the undersized springs. Plenty of other great companies in the area, no need to waste time and money with Metro."

"TERRIBLE company. The technician had to reschedule the first time because he was running behind, I had stayed home for 3 hours (which was my window), and in the end he had to reschedule. So I rescheduled for the next week where he told me on the phone he would be there right at 12 (I had a 12-3 window), and same story. So around 2 PM I called and they said he at my house. He was not. I called 35 minutes later and they said he was running behind and would have to reschedule!!!!!!!! So again, 6 total hours of my day(s) wasted and I STILL HAVE A BROKEN garage. door If you value your time, DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH A-1."

He went above and beyond by not only repairing my broken springs/stuck doors, but he double checked the other components to make sure they were in working shape. He gave me trustworthy/honest suggestions for preventative maintenance as well as what issues I should watch for in my older setup. "Technician arrived at 2:08 p.m. (I was estimated a 4 hour window 10-2). After explaining my concerns with garage door, tech made repair suggestions and I approved. He fixed bent parts on rails, rewired cables and rewound strings and installed a strut for garage weight. He suggested we need a strut to have door weighted down and completely close. He did not recommend we get new door or new strings, which I thought was honest. All seems great. Will observe work performed for the guaranteed 30 days. Overall good."
