A masonry business with over 50 combined years of experience. We do almost anything to do with brick or stone. Some examples would be brick-stone veneer, concrete blocks, rock face block, tuck-pointing, indoor/outdoor fireplaces, grill surrounds, pizza ovens, chimney repair/replace, foundation repair, shore-up basement walls. There are fire codes for a fireplace mantel made of wood or other combustible material. The mantel must be mounted at least six inches away from the fireplace opening on all sides with a non-combustible material—like stone or brick—installed between the mantel and fireplace. Handbuilt masonry fireplaces are likely what comes to mind when we think about curling up by the fire at the end of the day. But bricks in the firebox and chimney tend to be heavy, which is not ideal for homes with weak or damaged foundations.
