"Installed a new furnace for us during the winter when we needed it the most. They were able to install it 2 days after we asked for them to service our old existing furnace in which they showed us why it needed to be replaced. Quick and clean instillation with two knowledgeable and friendly employees."

Customers say: Quick response

"Al did a very professional job, installing ducting and a new furnace in my cabin. He was very courteous and conscientious about his work. He estimated that work would take about 5 days; he completed in just a bit over 4 days. The price for this project was also very reasonable. Am very satisfied with his work, and the furnace he installed. Would highly recommend him to others!"

"Went perfectly. Jake explained what he was doing and tested many things that we hadn’t had done before on our boiler. Gave me good recommendations on how to extend the life of my boiler. Even went above and beyond and caught a few things that I wouldn’t have noticed which will most likely save me money. Highly reccomended."

"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

"About an hour after calling Kaduce Plumbing and Heating, the service person arrived and promptly set about replacing our recirculating pump on our hot water heat furnace. He did a great job, and we had heat in about 30 minutes after he arrived. The service man even questioned why I had throttled down one of our heat lines by about 70%. That line goes to our upstairs and with an open stairway, the heat goes upstairs so we need less heat up there. Even throttled down, our upstairs stays about 10-15 degrees warmer than the ground floor. The service man did an excellent job of cleaning up after himself, so it's neater around the furnace than when he arrived."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

You should get anywhere from three to five quotes for HVAC replacement to get an idea of the average cost of a new unit. Although this quote-collecting process can be time consuming, it allows you to compare what work is required, what type of unit you should install, and how much you should expect to pay for the service.

Costs depend on unit size, labor, fuel type, and whether additional piping or venting is needed.

Safety concerns with propane boilers include proper venting to prevent carbon monoxide buildup, secure gas line connections, and regular inspection of safety controls. Professional boiler installation and annual maintenance are essential to minimize risks. Having a carbon monoxide detector installed in your home is essential for early detection of any leaks or ventilation issues.

The average lifespan of a boiler is typically between 15 and 20 years, though some may last for as little as 10 years while others can reach 30. A boiler's longevity is influenced by several factors, including the quality of the unit, proper installation, and consistent professional maintenance.

The material also plays a significant role. Older boilers made from durable cast iron can last for over 20 years, with some functioning for up to 50 years. However, it's important to consider their lower efficiency, which can lead to higher utility bills. Modern boilers, often made from steel alloys, are designed to withstand high pressure and temperatures and have an average lifespan of about 20 years.

To maximize your boiler's lifespan, ensure it is installed correctly, have it professionally maintained each year, and address any necessary repairs immediately.

The best time of year to purchase or replace an HVAC system, including components like an air conditioner or furnace, is during the off-season—spring and fall. During these periods, HVAC professionals are less busy than in summer and winter, when extreme temperatures create urgent demand. Shopping during the off-season can lead to savings of 10% to 15% on an AC unit and allows you more time to find the best deal and other cost-saving incentives. Typically, air conditioning units go on sale in the fall after demand drops, while furnace prices tend to decrease in the spring.
