"Jake came out on 6/20/24 after contacting me through the app and text. The first number he contacted me through was 1-307-312-9726 which I believe was a number provided through Angi/home advisor and not their actual number. On the Angi website, his number was listed as 269-391-0951 but he also gave me his cell phone which is 269-264-2032. He said my heater needed a new motherboard and that he would get one from a partner. He asked for payment, I gave it to him in cash, got a receipt which I have sent to [email protected]. After Jake diagnosed the problem, took my money and promised to return in 3 days, I tried contacting him when he didn't show up and the phone appeared to not be working. I contacted Angi and talked with Jose and we started a complaint, but then a few days later, I was able to get in contact with Jake again and he assured me that he was coming back and that the part was just taking longer to get. He never returned, nor did he return any of my numerous phone calls or text messages on any platform. I am not rating my experience below as one is poor and 5 is excellent. You need to put that on here because I don't know if 1 or 5 is supposed to be the good rating."

He’d not mentioned that before and it was a red flag but I gave him the $50 and he said he’d be back on 7/19. I texted him the day before to confirm and he didn’t respond. So I texted again that evening and the text wouldn’t deliver. I called and a msg said I was calling from a restricted number, he blocked me! I called Cameron the next morning and explained what happened and he said he was trying to reach Brian as well. He told me he’d come out and do the work and would call me back with some options of when he could come. Four days have passed and no call back. I’ve tried calling again and his mailbox is full. TERRIBLE WAY TO DO BIZ!!"
