"I’m very happy with the work of James Electric. I needed to have an EV charger installed. I was able to discuss the project with them (location, model, charger ratings, etc.). They offered opinions, but it was always my decision. I ended up with my Emportia charger mounted exactly where I wanted on the house. In the process, they also cleaned up several ugly circuits in the breaker box. The job was done quickly and efficiently, during some of the coldest weather we’ve experienced this winter. I would definitely recommend James Electric for future electrical work, especially installing EV chargers."

"Kane and Scott arrived on the planned day and completed our work in four hours. They were a half hour late from the planned start time, but Kane communicated to me that morning the delayed start time. We had two ceiling fans and two wall sconces, with switches, installed. They worked diligently and carefully, and everything looked great and worked perfectly when they were done. They cleaned up almost everything afterward, but left a lot of dust and some trash behind. We were happy with their work and cheerfully paid the money for which they asked."

"The estimator was very knowledgeable and explained his products and services very well.  He provided a detailed plan and estimate.
The installation was done all in one day - including removal of the old counter top and the installation of the new counter top - and it was done on the pre-scheduled day.  Sears was excellent at accommodating our scheduling restrictions.  The new counter top looks nice and we are very happy with the result.
There were a few glitches - the garbage disposal leaked and needed service, and it was tough to get an updated estimate when we made a mid-stream change - but we were still very happy with the result.
Note that the Sears office that we dealt with is in Sharon Hill PA, not in Windsor Mill MA as listed by Angie's List, and the corporate headquarters is in Longwood FL.

"Shortly after purchasing a deal through Angie’s List, Ivan reached out to get a better understanding of the work I was looking to have completed, and to set up a date/time to address the tasks. When the scheduled day came around, he was right on schedule (even arrived a little earlier — a nice change of pace from most contractors), along with calling as a courtesy beforehand. After a quick walk-through, he went right to work replacing (installing, in one instance) several ceiling fans throughout my home. Upon completion, he moved onto the installation of outdoor outlets, making recommendations and suggestions along the way regarding proper routing and overall aesthetics. Ivan was an absolute pleasure to work with, a professional whose work speaks for itself — tasks were taken from start to finish in a far shorter window of time than I would have imagined. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
