"They were very quick to respond when contacted through this site. They were able to schedule the inspection within 3 business days which was nice as I was expecting 1-2 weeks. Haven't received the results yet so no further services have been used but will definitely use them for the remediation should it come to that."

"Everything from consult to install was fantastic, the whole team is very polite and respecting of your home. Since their system has been installed we haven't had a single drop of water in the basement where before we would get 2 to 3 inches of standing water!!!"

"Gray's did a fabulous job communicating with me. He contacted me within 2 hours to schedule my inspection and had me set up with an appointment the following day. He was very thorough and respectful of my situation. He had an attention to details and took many pictures. The final report was well put together, detailed, and included all pictures with explanations. Very professional service! I highly recommend them to anyone that need this type of inspection done."

"Everything went great with our wood floor installation. Andy was a great help in helping us find a great match to our existing wood floors throughout the house, and his installation could not have gone smoother. Bottom line, Andy is a great businessman and a super hard worker! We would hire home again in a Nee York minute!"

"Would not schedule an estimate if my husband can not be there, reason? So they can put a lean on your home if there is any dispute? Because that is the only way they can put a lean on your home if both husband and wife signed contract. I Will not again deal with any business that distrust its customer! I had made that mistake with Avalon building concepts. MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET THEM TO AGREE TO AN AUDIO RECORDING OR DO NOT LET THEM COME TO YOUR HOME FOR AN ESTIMATE, THEY WILL BE AGGRESSIVE IN THEIR SALE PITCH, AND PROMISE YOU THE WORLD THEN DOUBLE TALK LATER, AND WHEN YOU DEMAND THEY DO IT RIGHT BEFORE YOU PAY THE BILL, THEY THREATEN TO PUT A LEAN ON YOUR HOME BECAUSE BOTH OF YOU SIGNED THE CONTRACT."

"This company was very prompt, efficient, and effective. We did not want to spend $20 grand on waterproofing the entire foundation snd they came up with a budget-friendly alternative. Very happy with them."

"Matt was an awesome rep. He came to our home inspected and gave us the quote. When there was an issue later down the road on where the window could be placed because we didn’t know where some of our lines were under ground be came back and reevaluated and came up with a plan. We had to change our entire floor plan for this window but it’s ok it wasn’t there fault it’s all going to work out in the end."

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

You can guarantee that you hire a professional home inspector by reviewing their qualifications, years of experience, customer reviews, and certifications before hiring. If you’re working with a realtor, they can recommend at least one trusted professional home inspector. You can always confirm the credentials of a home inspector by checking for affiliations with organizations like the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors or the American Society of Home Inspectors.

Older homes normally take longer to inspect than newer ones. Old homes are more prone to damage, deterioration, or outdated systems and features, and an inspector will need to note the condition of the home and anything in it that may need to be updated or repaired.

While you can change an air filter yourself, you should have a licensed HVAC technician conduct your HVAC inspection. HVAC professionals have the knowledge, tools, and experience to investigate each part of your system, tune it up as needed, and offer you expert recommendations.

Consider an annual inspection conducted by a local plumber to prevent dangerous and destructive leaks. If you recently moved into an older home or are concerned about the age of your gas lines, call an inspector for a closer look. You may also be required to call an inspector after your contractor installs a new line for an appliance.

Yes, a seller is legally required to disclose any known fire damage when selling a house, including damages that were repaired. That includes damages to structural components and all major systems, as well as water damage, chemical damage, and smoke damage related to the fire. Sellers use a property disclosure statement, which is regulated by each state individually, to disclose fire damage.
