"They did great. They put the "mess" in a pail and a garbage bag and took it away. Very professional, timely, efficient, clean. I would hire them again!!"

All Quotes are free and negotiable. I work for myself but I do sub contract with other small business people around when more manpower is needed. Most billing is done on cash or check bases, materials are paid for upfront and labor is paid at the completion. At this time no financing is available.

Lawn Fertilization and Treatment questions, answered by experts

The best time to fight crabgrass with pre-emergent herbicide is when forsythias tend to bloom. In the mid-Atlantic region, this is usually between April and May. Even if you're late to apply the herbicide, it’s effective as long as the crabgrass plant has fewer than five leaves.

Herbicide application, manual removal, and landscape fabric are common approaches.

Start your search for a good lawn care company by finding some landscapers in your area; it might be a good idea to research companies that already work on your block, as they’re more likely to be able to fit you into their schedules, given your proximity. Next, conduct a search online to see if they have positive customer reviews, and try to avoid companies that have poor scores or a history of complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Finally, make sure to ask each company about pricing, contracts, scheduling, and any add-on services.

A typical schedule may involve four to six treatments annually, but needs vary based on lawn conditions, weather, and maintenance goals.

Choosing the right grass seed and planting it at the right time are the most important factors in establishing fast-growing grass. You also need adequate water, sunshine, and nutrients. To speed up the growth process, you can implement some tips and tricks, including watering it deeply and frequently, and using an iron-rich fertilizer to boost its appearance.
