"At the end of the winter I ended up with a big ice dam on my roof. When the thaw came water started to back up under the shingles and the skylights and leaked into the house causing substantial damage. I called A-1 and the owner and a workman came out the same day and although it was bitter cold they went up on the roof and broke up the ice and made a temporary repair to stop the water. Within a week they had completed work which included replacement of a 4x4 skylight and flashing on the other skylights as well as  pulling up a substantial portion of the roof to install ice shield. They also replaced 3 soil pipes which were leaking. Since the work was done the roof has not leaked and the Owner John Noel has followed up with a personal visit to make sure I was completely satisfied.
