"There was some delay in getting back to me as the contractor had been out of town which was completely understandable and I have no complaints about that. When I did reach the company he had a question about when I wanted the job to be completed and I gave a response of roughly Christmas time-frame. The contractor just replied and said that might be "doable" but no other questions or any reference to wanting to come out and quote. So I assumed he wasn't very interested in the work and moved on in my search. I have no direct experience with any of his work so I cannot comment on that. It is difficult to base a rating on my experience. I'm sure based on other reviews his work is good as that is why I reached out to him in the first place. Maybe just bad timing."

I had a very bad experience with another contractor and the experience with Northstarr helped restore my faith in the profession/industry. Marty met with me personally to get the quote going and seeing how to move forward with the project; and was very open to all my questions and making sure we mitigated surprises on the quote end. All the crew members that came on site were wonderful, and I appreciated that Dennis and Richard kept me in the loop and were very open to my questions/changes along the way. The workmanship is fantastic, and Dennis had some great suggestions on touches to the project that really helped enhance the final look. During the project, there was going to be a time when a large patio door needed to be moved, and I was concerned about my cats getting outside. Northstarr was very understanding and was able to structure the work such that the door was able to be moved without ever giving the cats access to getting outside. Everyone I worked with throughout the process was kind, helpful, respectful, and really walked what they talked. I also liked that the crews were very friendly and I was able to have some great conversations with many great people. Again, would recommend them to anyone and honestly one of the best experience I've had with a contractor in my many years of home ownership."
