"Mr. Collier was very professional. He gave me options to pick from of what kind of decking I would like. His suggestions were greatly appreciated. The deck turned out better than I could imagine. He was very punctual and did fabulous work. I will be hiring him in the future to replace my siding."

Small jobs welcome

"Built to Last Construction was recommended to my husband and me by his brother. They remodeled my bother-in law's kitchen and built him a beautiful deck, which is featured on their website at https://www.b2lconstruction.com. We hired them to remodel our kitchen. It turned out beautiful. Tom even built pull out drawers for my cupboard panty and added a heat vent along the floor. The extra time and detail they took to get it just right was amazing. I recommended them to a friend who is keeping them busy with projects at her home. My friend recommended them to someone else who has had a hard time finding someone to update her deck. She will not be disappointed."

"Radz restoration was amazing to work with. I had my kitchen flood which everyone knows can be traumatizing. They came and removed all the water and took care of the dry out for me! Not only did they do that but they remolded my kitchen as well and it turned out super good! I highly recommend them to everyone I talk to! The best part about it all is the owner is a veteran !"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

It is possible to install an above-ground pool yourself in about six hours, provided your yard isn't too sloped or you don't have many trees. It's imperative to ensure your ground is level; otherwise, your pool could collapse. Contact a swimming pool installer for an in-ground pool installation or to ensure your above-ground pool is installed correctly.

Costs depend on size, additional features, and site preparation requirements.

Yes, swimming in a pool with high calcium hardness is considered safe as long as you have sufficient chlorine and pH levels to keep bacteria growth under control. The main issue with high calcium hardness is that it damages your pool through rust and corrosion. However, if your water is hard enough to corrode your pool, you might want to consider finding methods to make it safe for drinking at home.

Pool leaks most commonly occur at joints or where different materials meet. The most frequent leak spots include:

  • The Pool Skimmer: Where the plastic skimmer meets the pool's liner or shell.

  • The Pool Liner: Tears can develop in vinyl liners, especially those between 5 and 20 years old. Leaks also occur around the liner's edge.

  • Fittings and Accessories: Areas around return lines, the main drain, and pool lights are common culprits.

  • Pool Equipment: The pump, filter, and filter housing can also leak.

While leaks in underground pipes are less common, they can be costly to fix. It's usually best to check the more common spots before investigating the plumbing system.

Pool pumps should work discreetly and quietly. If you hear loud screeching or grinding sounds from your pool pump, it’s a good indication that its motor is starting to fail and may need replacing.
