"Didn't clean up all of the wet footprints on the floor and wash-streaks from the shower tile. Didn't get the top of one cabinet that was heavily soiled from kitchen grease and dust cleaned down to a clean top - a difficult one for us to reach. Overall, however, was excellent."

"Dwayne is an excellent guy. I had such an overwhelming situation going on in my garage and he came quickly and gave me a fair estimate. What’s even better he asked me if the price is right for me and when I gave him a lower price that works for me since I been paying a lot of money he didn’t hesitate to accept my price and helped me out tremendously. Day of the job Dwayne showed up with help Frank and he was also an excellent, hard working man. They both got to the job and worked diligently and worked with me and didn’t force their way or discard my items heartlessly . Dwayne left my garage in a pristine condition with my floors sparkling. I recommend him 100% and definitely will be working with him and his company in the future ! Please hire Like New Cleaning Services they are trustworthy and hard working ! U can’t say enough good things !"

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

Keeping your air filter clean is crucial for your heat pump's efficiency. As a general rule, you should check your air filter every 1 to 3 months. However, the actual frequency might vary depending on factors like the type of filter, indoor air quality, and the amount of dust and debris in your area. If you notice the filter is visibly dirty or clogged, it's a clear sign it needs attention sooner. Regular filter maintenance ensures proper airflow and helps your heat pump perform optimally, keeping your indoor air fresh and comfortable.

While an air conditioner can temporarily run with a dirty filter, it is not recommended as it will not work efficiently. A dirty filter forces the system to work harder to circulate cool air, leading to reduced airflow, increased wear and tear, and higher energy bills. This added strain can cause the air conditioner to overheat or fail prematurely. Furthermore, a clogged filter may allow dust and dirt to accumulate in your ductwork, negatively impacting air quality. It is more cost-effective to clean or replace filters regularly than to pay higher utility bills and risk needing to replace the entire AC unit.

As a general rule, HVAC air filters should be replaced every one to three months (or every 90 days). However, the ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the filter type and your home's environment. For instance, if you use thinner filters (1-2 inches deep), have pets, have household members with allergies, smoke indoors, or frequently keep windows open, you may need to change the filter as often as once a month. It's best to follow the manufacturer's recommendation as a guideline and visually inspect the filter monthly to see if it's dirty. Regular filter changes are crucial for maintaining proper airflow, good indoor air quality, and efficient HVAC system operation.

Putting an air filter in backward can reduce airflow, which means your air conditioner has to work harder, putting a strain on your HVAC system. This can result in higher energy bills, premature repair, or even system replacement. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines to identify what is the front and back of the filter.

While an air purifier can trap mold spores and stop them from spreading around your home, it’s not the most effective solution for tackling the problem. Mold is caused by excess moisture and humidity, so there’s a good chance you have an issue somewhere else in your HVAC system that needs to be addressed.
