The initial bid was provided on the spot, in a very well laid out and detailed format, which I like. Within a few days, a measure and design person came to the house to do all of the exact measures, as ours was a custom job. Shortly thereafter, we got a full set of drawings, including a 3D rendering, which helped us visualize the project. We paid our deposit and got a commitment for installation within 3 weeks, which happened (I wish we had the same performance from the company we chose to do our pool!). It was an extremely hard job due to the location and getting the flow properly done from the porch which was in the front of the house, winding all the way to the back along the garage and to the patio.
