"Very professional. Wonderful to work with. We hired them to put an addition on our home. They did everything very well : foundation, building the rooms, putting in insulation, drywall, painting, flooring, windows, roofing, plumbing, framing doors and windows, ductwork. They even built raised flower bed structures to go around the outside of the new addition. They are a very talented and skilled company."

"Fantastic! I hired Stateline to get my house ready to sell. Even though the house is only 1100 Sq ft I need EVERYTHING painted; all the walls & ceilings in the first 2 floors including hallways & also the floor & walls of the basement. Quite a large undertaking to say the least. Josh not only completed the job by the promised date, he even powerwashed the outside for me! The house looked phenomenal & I sold above asking! Spackle is composed of gypsum and binding agents, making it a thicker compound best suited for small wall repairs like filling nail holes or cracks, as it dries quickly and is easy to sand. For small repairs, either product can be suitable. However, you can use joint compound for small jobs in place of spackle, but you cannot use spackle for large-scale taping and mudding projects.

Plaster can be a difficult DIY to master, especially if you plan to plaster an entire room, rather than patch a small area. Before you begin a plaster DIY project, you need to know which tools and type of plaster to use. It's also important to know how to prepare the surface and apply the plaster for a smooth finish. If that all sounds like a lot of work, you may prefer hiring a local plaster repair contractor to do the job.

You can technically just paint over hairline cracks in plaster since these cracks are often harmless, but this will mostly be a waste of paint.
