"About a month ago we had the basement carpet cleaned in our rental after the renters moved out. The staff did a very professional job- prompt, experienced and efficient. I did not notice what they did with the waste water because I was working on another area in the house. When they finished the carpet was clean and there was no&nbsp;(dirty water) smell&nbsp;in the basement. I don't remember them asking "is it ok if we dump the waste water in your toilet?" but there is a toilet in the basement.&nbsp;&nbsp;This is significant because.... <br>today we had the porch carpet cleaned and the staff guys were very polite and business like especially when I said "WHAT?" when they said they had to use one of our toilets to dump the dirty water that was&nbsp;sucked out of the carpet. Luckily we have a toilet in the laundry room and the porch is not that big so the waste water was minimal BUT, BUT- the laundry room now smells like AN OUT HOUSE!!! <br>Maybe their hose was dirty? So it seems there is now a law which "prevents them from dumping the waste water anywhere but our toilet". (pervious to using our toilets- they used to suction the water into a tank in their truck). SO now the burden of having to dump this waste water into a sanitary system has been put on the home owner instead of this vendor. This "STINKS"show more

"I called Mechanical Heating &amp; Cooling when I thought the freon in our older AC unit was low. I called and someone actually answered the phone &amp; scheduled my appointment that same day! I had attempted to schedule service with 4 other companies and all of them said it would be several days (one was more than a week) before someone could come out. Kris Grabke was the technician who serviced our unit and told me everything was fine. The sub-cooling reading was where it should be and the reading for the coils was also where it should be. Unfortunately, I had to pay the $99 diagnostic fee even though I didn't really need anything after all, but I appreciated Kris' honesty and the fact that he didn't try to pressure me into having a new unit installed.show more
