"Melony and Travis were very good. They arrived on time, immediately went to work, and quietly performed the job. They were very conscientious and efficient. There were challenges in getting some of the screens off the windows and in reaching some of outsides of the windows. However, they managed to clean everything and do it well."

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Most jobs take 2-8 hours, depending on the number of windows, height, and difficulty of access.

Yes, many professional companies offer high-rise window cleaning using specialized equipment and safety harnesses.

Finding a quality professional window cleaning service is much like finding any other vetted home pro: You should ask friends and family members who you trust for recommendations for window washers in your area and check online ratings. Reading a company’s reviews will give you a lot of insight into the service you can expect. Then, check their credentials and contact them to get a quote. Be sure to ask questions about their process and the products they use to get your windows to shine.

Yes, you should plan on being home when a window cleaner is cleaning your windows. The professional will clean both sides of the glass and will likely disassemble parts of your windows from the inside to clean and inspect the inner components, including the balances and weatherstripping. Much of this work requires interior access to your home, which means someone will need to be home to provide access to the window cleaner.

Access to professional tools ensures streak-free finishes and safety in hard-to-reach areas.
