"After a severe rainfall my wife and I discovered water was
forcing its way through the basement slab and in between the slab and cove
joints in our basement. Knowing that we wanted to eventually finish the
basement, I contacted five different contractors to assess which had the best
solution to keep the area dry.
In the end we chose Stay Dry based off the company's
proposed solution, experience, and positive review base on Angie's List. While Stay
Dry's solution was similar to what other contractor's quoted, it was superior
in that they used triple-walled perforated pipe--not corrugated--that was
installed next to the foundation footer as it should be. Don't let a
waterproofing company--in my particular case, Ayer's Basement Systems--convince
you that a drainage tile can be installed on top of the foundation footer and
function properly. Reading guidelines the Department of Energy and Oak Ridge
National Laboratory established for proper foundation water management, and a
little common sense, confirm this.
All of this is to say that Stay Dry proposed and installed a
system that is proven to work, and they did so with excellent workmanship. Jim
and his crew were courteous and professional in their conduct throughout the
installation, and I would heartily recommend them--and Stay Dry--to anyone needing
basement work. They literally went above and beyond the scope of what they were
paid to do. They installed a dry well for us, and then they took extra time to
move the left-over dirt to areas that needed improved grading to keep water away
from the house. Nowhere was this in the contract, but they did it free without
question.
I couldn't be happier with the quality of the finished
product, but there is one small thing that could have been done better from the
sales side. We decided to opt for the battery backup sump pump with the Pump
Spy monitoring service, but the Stay Dry sales rep did not disclose the fact that
the Pump Spy service itself included just a 30 day trial, after which there is
a $4.99 monthly fee. I was not made aware of this until I went to activate the
service online when the system was installed. $4.99 is not bad for being able
to regularly monitor the sump's activity and any issues that could arise, but I
do wish that the Stay Dry rep had informed me ahead of time. Regardless, I
highly recommend that anyone who is having basement water issues give Stay Dry
a call and rest assured that their work is worth the investment.

"Before replacing the tub, he had to build up the walls so he could attach the new tub and walls of tub. He and his co worker both worked very hard and steady. Nice to talk to. Informative. Quality work. Both men. I liked the fact that Chad was going to stick to his first quote with us, even though neither of us knew about the need to build up the existing walls before his quote. He not only tore out existing tub, he took all waste materials with him. He is a patient man and works without complaint. Twice I had to go and exchange wrong parts I had bought, and he just kept working on other things until I returned. A few days later I heard from him with a follow up call. "It went fantastically well, It did not take him long to find the problem and then solve it. He came in and look under the sink. Went under the house found the pipe shook it and said here is the problem. Hr removed a section of the pipe and found the stoppage removed it , repaired pipe and sink workes like new. "It was a wonderful experience.  Jason Todaro came to my home and worked with me to decide what would look best in my yard and helped me envision what my yard could look like.  He was extremely flexible, willing to change this-or-that to accomodate my ideas and desires, and he and his people have extremely good taste in everything they do.
One thing I wanted was a "rose window" sort of design installed in pavers in my patio.   The pavers I had selected were not uniform in color, so he chose the pavers that were darkest to create the design, which must have involved hand cutting a hundred or so pavers.  And the patio and walkway are very definitely built to last.  His team (including his brother, Joe) dug down to the hard earth beneath my lawn, and filled it with two different types of material before installing the pavers on top of that. 
We discussed a water feature, and I wasn't sure I wanted one until he showed me a "bubbling rock" and I realized that it could become a place that birds could bathe, and Jason agreed with me that it could be possible.  They just finished work yesterday, and I am so thrilled with that water feature that I am beside myself.  I've not seen any birds bathing yet, but they seem interested, and the burbling of the fountain is just so very peaceful that I sat and watched it for a few  hours last night.  It's going to be wonderful this coming summer. 
I had some ideas for bushes and trees that I wanted to have, and Jason had some ideas to add to it, and the result is stunning.  He has very good taste, and very good instincts.  His team went above and beyond for me, even to the point of decorating everything nicely with the lawn ornaments I had in my shed.  They used the ornaments in places I had never considered.  I am extremely happy.
I work full time so wasn't home for much of their labor.  But the day before they finished, my phone was ringing the whole way home with all of my neighbors commenting on how nice it was looking!
I honestly could not be happier, and I would happily recommend this company to anyone.
