"Always greener Landscape transformed my back yard from a pit to a beautiful oasis! James and team quickly came up with a solution to a water mess my builders left me with in my back yard! They ran drain pipes along each side of my house, buried them and have them leading to a functional, extremely beautiful pond with two waterfalls... next to that they built a matching fire pit! They also built me a very sturdy privacy fence so that my back yard is totally fenced in and my puppy can run around off his leash! They built up my back yard and laid grass seed and covered it with hay! They also fixed a slab of concrete in my sidewalk leading to the house and James suggested I put my puppy’s paw ? prints in the sidewalk! That is such a beautiful touch! He did a great job with my little Peanut, getting his paws in there! James and team are top notch! Extremely professional, knowledgeable, polite and extremely affordable! I had gotten 3 estimates and by far, Always Greener, had the best design plan and price! I’m very happy I found them!"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Regularly clean pumps, remove debris, and monitor water levels to prevent algae growth and clogging.

Yes, it is possible to make a fountain without a pump, though it may seem less intuitive and will require a bit more effort to use. In lieu of an electric pump, there are a few options including hand-cranked pumps or sprinkler systems that can work to provide water for a fountain.

Installing an outdoor water fountain costs $2,700 on average, not including the cost of the unit. Prices range from $150 to $10,650, depending on your location, the type of fountain, size, and accessibility to the site. Self-contained fountains and water features recirculate the water within the unit. Depending on size and features like multi-tiered cascading bowls, they typically cost from $50 to $5,000. More elaborate fountains with waterfalls and ponds can cost from $450 to $10,000 or more.

Yes, it’s possible to DIY a plunge pool and shave labor costs off of the project total. If you’re considering a DIY build, keep in mind that you will be responsible for pool installation and landscaping (which may require excavation). This type of DIY project is best left to particularly handy homeowners who have prior pool installation experience.

To maintain your pond, you’ll need to occasionally clean your backyard pond, especially if you have koi fish. Test the water twice a week to make sure your fish have everything they need and always remove visible debris.
