"Very professional and friendly. They removed wallpaper in my kitchen and did a wonderful job. No messy floors or countertops. The walls was prep for painting which they also did. The painter is very meticulous. He explained what he would do each day. My walls look like new drywall was installed. The overall project took a week but it was worth the time line and the price was reasonable."

"We had about 1300 square feet of wood-look LVT Vinyl Planks installed. A large portion of the flooring being replaced was in an open floor plan area that had several transitional areas going from sheet vinyl to carpet and tile. Tony came out to see the project and give us an estimate. His price was fair and very competitive. He did a great job keeping in touch with us before, during and after the install. He was also flexible with our schedule. John and Ron did quality work on the install. They moved and replace all the furniture and toilets, They were very knowledgeable, worked efficiently and did a great job keeping us informed. All transitions were smooth. They did not leave a mess. When everything was said and done, our home was put back in order and all we had to do was enjoy our beautiful new floors and do a bit of dusting. We are very pleased."

"Very skilled craftsmen that were exacting in their final product and very critical of their own work. They used only the finest hardwoods and hardware on the reface. The price was the lowest of the 4 companies that quoted our job and work started much sooner than others could deliver. The ability to pick our own colors for the cabinets from the entire Sherwin Williams color wheel was a plus; something no other company offered. I strongly recommend that this team be contacted when looking to do a reface. Give Mike a call and he'll be out promptly to help decide what they can do for you. A veteran of the cabinet reface business he is friendly, knowledgeable and very willing to make the best deal for you."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The number of boxes of tile you need depends entirely on the amount of tile in each box or case. Different manufacturers package their tiles differently, and boxes contain different amounts of tile depending on the size, shape, and material. Often, the amount of area that a case will cover is listed in the product description. To calculate the number of boxes you need, take the total square feet of the space and divide it by the number of square feet the box will cover.

Yes, it’s always a good idea to keep a box or two of spare tiles after a home renovation project. Tiles can crack from improper installation, heavy foot traffic, and impact from drops. Having some extra tile on hand can make replacement fast, easy, and affordable. Plus, some manufacturers might discontinue particular colors or styles, and slight variations in tile colors between batches could mean mismatched tiles even if your product isn’t discontinued. Having a few spare tiles in storage can help avoid these issues, as well.

The cost depends on the type of natural stone. High-end stones can cost as much as porcelain, but it depends on the specific material. For example, the cost of flagstone pavers is typically $2 to $6 per square foot, which is much more budget-friendly than porcelain. Outdoor slate tile can cost as much as $35 per square foot, which is about the same as porcelain.

Ceramic tile can be slightly less expensive than porcelain pavers. You can find outdoor ceramic tile for as little as $1 per square foot, but high-end options tend to cost the same as porcelain.

Most professional shower tile installations take between six and eight hours, depending on the size and complexity. Most projects get completed in a single workday. DIY-ing the project takes around three to four days or roughly 16 hours. However, this will vary based on the skill level of the person completing the work.
