"Our central air unit stopped working and Frank was here giving us a free estimate on the issue. He was completely honest and up front about the issue, he explained everything to us in terms we could understand. He went over and beyond to solve our problem by the most inexpensive way possible. We really appreciate the way he did everything he could to help us out. He also does plumbing, hand work, tiling, etc. Needless to say, we will be calling him for all of our needs in the future."

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

If you leave liquid drain cleaner for too long, it will start breaking down your drainpipes. The chemicals in these cleaners can cause cracks, corrosion, and leaks in your pipes. They can also damage plumbing fixtures and even cause environmental damage if left too long without rinsing away.

If you don’t have a sewer cleanout, clearing out clogs can be extremely difficult. You would need to try to clear the clog from sink drains, but it can be harder to reach the clog all the way in the drain line. A sewer cleanout makes it much faster and easier for pros to clear clogs from your main sewer line.

Some of the most common plumbing problems in mobile homes are frozen pipes, leaking pipes, clogged drains, and low pressure. Since the pipes in a mobile home aren’t as insulated as those in a standard build, they’re more susceptible to fluctuating temperatures and damage.

Yes, hiring a drain cleaner is worth it, especially when compared to the cost of not being able to use a sink, shower, toilet, or bathtub and the potential damage that flooding can cause in your home. You might try a temporary drain cleaning liquid or snaking it yourself, but if the clog is out of reach or these methods do not work, then hiring a professional drain cleaner is the way to go.

While some chemical drain cleaners with hydrochloric acid can dissolve hair, this method is not recommended as it can also destroy your plumbing pipes. A common DIY alternative is using baking soda and vinegar, which can help break down the clog but will not actually dissolve the hair. The best and safest method for clearing a hair clog is to remove it manually. You can use a drain snake, a straightened wire hanger with pliers to fish out the clog, or have a plumber use a professional auger for more severe blockages.
