"To be fully transparent, I went into this “adventure” with naive trepidation. But with Jeffrey’s guaranteed assurance on design & quality, and his professional install team, we had a fantastic 21/2day project experience from start to finish. Very pleased with putting/chipping green result. Besides adult fun, my future PGA /LPGA grandchildren love it! A favorite addition to our friend & family fun. Highly recommend Grass 365!"

"I had Travis grind stumps for me and loam and reseed the area afterward. He was very accommodating, punctual, and polite. He did wonderful work, even spreading the wood chips, creating a lovely path in the woods. I would highly recommend their services!"

"Mike was great! He was quick to respond and had experience installing EV charging stations. We set up an appointment for him to come and do the work and he arrived at exactly the scheduled time (7:30 AM!). Once at the house he set about doing the work and in a short time he was done and ready for us to try the new charger. The quality of the work was superb and he could not have been more pleasant! And best of all his rates were more than reasonable. Mike is now our official, go to electrician!"

"Jason and his crew turned my old, ugly driveway into a thing of beauty. My original driveway had a very poor base of sand and clay which was settling, causing deep dips and cracks in the asphalt. Before contacting Jason for an estimate, I researched everything about driveways I could find; from installing the proper base material, to providing the correct amount of extended base to prevent chipping along the edges, to installing the proper thickness of asphalt. And when Jason looked at my driveway for an estimate, I was impressed to hear that everything he said and recommended was exactly the same as the information from my research. And after watching his crew at work, I will say they are every bit as dedicated to quality as he is. and I highly recommend this company for their exceptional skill and professionalism. You won't be disappointed."

"My yard is a mess of horrible holes and brown spots. The chips are piled high in the front yard. Wish they had asked about getting them in the back yard with the other pile of chips or taken them away. I know they helped a neighbor with a tall tree takedown at the same time. Just wish they could have helped make my front yard look better."

"We asked for removal of small trees and brush cutting along a long driveway. The workers showed up with a large trailer truck, and worked very quickly. There was no mess left behind. Very neat job."

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

Generally, it is not necessary to remove old mulch before applying a new layer. As organic mulch breaks down, it enriches the soil with nutrients. However, you should remove the old layer if it shows signs of fungus or disease, which can be common in moist areas, or if the total depth is already too thick. Avoid letting the total mulch depth exceed 3 inches, as this can harm plant roots. If you do remove old, disease-free mulch, it can be added to a compost pile.

Most rose bushes should not be heavily pruned in the summer since this is the prime growing and blooming season. The best time to trim is typically after the growing season or right before spring, depending on your rose bush variety. However, you can cut away any dead or diseased areas or lightly trim spent blooms during the summer to encourage more growth.

Leaf removal, aeration, dethatching, mowing, pruning, and fertilizing are activities that prepare lawns for the next season.

If you don’t have too many fallen leaves, one option is to leave them in place. They’ll eventually decompose, adding vital nutrients to the soil. But if you have a thick layer of leaves smothering your lawn, you’ll want to either mulch them or bag them up for removal. If you choose to collect and bag your leaves, check with your local municipality on any specific guidelines to dispose of them. Many cities offer curbside pickup if the leaves are disposed of in yard waste bags or containers.

Depending on the method you choose to remove grass, it may or may not matter whether the grass is wet or dry when you perform the task. A dryer lawn will be easier to negotiate with a sod cutter, especially if you're not planning to reuse the turf. However, using a shovel by hand might be a little easier if the ground is slightly damp but not so much that it sticks to the tool.
