"Prompt response… very professional! I have been without a sink for two weeks, called a few companies and no follow up.. Tejadas was able to fit me in right away.. they were at my home on time and did a great job cutting my granite countertop and positioned my sink to get installed by the plumber… I would definitely hire them again for any future jobs"

Customers say: True professional

"Kyle and his team were wonderful! Everyone was professional, friendly, skilled, and responsible. It was easy to arrange dates for the work, and every question received a quick response. We were especially pleased to discover that environmentally-friendly baking soda was used for the "blasting/scrubbing" Of the beams in the basement. We have the highest praise for Kyle and his team - greatly appreciate the work they did in helping us!"

"I got a new water treatment system under my kitchen sink. They started by testing my water and explained the results in a way I could understand. The work quality was great and done in a reasonable amount of time."

"They were quick and thorough and knowledgeable and tested air inside and out and then recommended mediation. They don’t do that so there’s no conflict of interest. They recommended a company but left it up to me."

"I've used The Dump Guy twice now. This last time, I needed our basement cleaned out so we could have a leaking oil tank removed. They gave us an estimate of $1,500 and came out the same week. I know the job was bigger than they expected but the crew stayed at it. Among other things, they hauled out an old stand-up freezer and two large, metal desks. When they were done, I asked how much I owed them and Jason stuck to the estimate. I'll definitely hire The Dump Guy again because they are reliable, honest, and easy to work with."

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

Actually, removing mildew from your front-load washer is simple. Wipe down the gasket with a cloth and use Q-tips and a toothbrush for the hard-to-reach areas. During this cleaning process, use a 1:1 mixture of white vinegar and water to combat any mold.

You can also try running a hot cycle with a 1:1 mixture of one-quarter cup of baking soda and water in the detergent dispenser. But if mold growth is severe, it’s more efficient to install a brand new seal altogether.

Ideal humidity conditions generally range from 30% to 50%, with 45% considered optimal humidity for most homes. If your humidity levels drop below that range, you can turn your dehumidifier off. Additionally, suppose the temperature where the dehumidifier is installed falls below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. In that case, it's best to turn it off and unplug it since cooler temperatures can cause the unit's coils to freeze.

Yes. Musty smells in your home usually signal that mold or mildew is lurking somewhere. Both can cause allergy symptoms in those who are allergic. Mold can cause structural damage and serious health issues if left unaddressed.

Depending on the location of the water leak, it could go undetected for weeks, months, or even years in some extreme cases. Most homeowners who have plumbing leaks have slow drips, so you might not see signs of damage until they become severe problems. It’s a good idea to have a plumbing inspection done annually and to take steps yourself to check for leaks, including inspecting your floor, walls, and ceilings for signs of water damage, monitoring your utility bills, and looking for water around appliances and fixtures.

It is safe to remove old linoleum, but it may require the help of a specialist due to the risk of asbestos in the material. Before you cut into linoleum or try to peel it up, have it tested for asbestos. If it tests positive, professionals will need to remove it to prevent the risk of health issues from airborne toxic particles. If it’s asbestos-free, DIY removal is possible and safe.
