Small jobs welcome

"We hired Ranardo to do our Spring Clean-Up and Lawn Maintenance . We had contacted multiple Landscape Companies for quotes but several of them never followed up. One contractor wanted us to pay him up front for the work. Ranardo was very responsive and has done an excellent job for our Spring Cleanup and has begun our Lawn Maintenance. Iâ m very happy with Ranardoâ s work."

"Im not saying their prices were out of line, but our budget just does not allow for that much money for snow removal from two small roofs. When the weather abates we will finish the job ourselves."

"We had an incredible experience working with Wicked Hardscapes! From beginning to end Luke and his crew were absolutely top-tier. The efficiency that they handled our project was impressive; they stayed on schedule and completed the work more quickly than anticipated without any sacrifice to quality! Communication was seamless throughout the entire project. Luke was always available to answer out questions, provide updates and offer helpful suggestions based on his extensive expertise. It is clear that he knows all the ins and outs of the hardscaping industry like the back of his hand. His attention to detail really shines in the final result. As icing on the cake, his pricing was very fair and affordable, particularly considering the high-level of craftsmanship. We could not be happier with our new patio space and we highly recommend Wicked Hardscapes for any project!"

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Schedule regular snow removal, apply salt or sand to icy areas, and mark hazards like curbs or drains.

Removal typically takes 30 minutes to 1 hour per item, depending on accessibility and size.

Yes, most states require that snow removal companies be insured under workers' compensation. This protects the employees financially if an injury were to happen (and when dealing with ice and snow, it’s possible that injury could occur). In addition, most states require snow removal companies to be covered under general liability, which would help cover the cost of any property damage incurred during the removal process.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.

When starting the engine, you typically leave the choke on a snowblower in the "choke" or "closed" position. After starting, let the engine run for a few minutes to warm up. Then, gradually open the choke, moving it to the "open" or "run" position, allowing more air into the engine and transitioning to a normal fuel-air mixture. The exact duration varies based on the snowblower model and ambient temperature, but as a general rule, you should open the choke once the engine has stabilized and runs smoothly, typically within a few minutes.
