"Tyler was very professional and answered all my questions. As well a bring up concerns that that I should have about the care of ones roof. We were able to create a plan for my roof over the phone. This made it easy to schedule the work at our connivence. He described the process and chemicals being used; and their effect on my plants and cedar shingles. He did explain that it may take 2 to 3 months for the roof to become completely clean. But assured that he could come back in a few months if wanted to get the roof rinsed off with a hose and not a high pressure washer. I’m looking forward to a clean roof."

Brick takes longer to dry than less porous materials like concrete. If you are waiting to spot clean, a full day of mild weather should do the trick. The difference between pressure washing and power washing is the temperature of the water. With pressure washing, cool water from an outdoor spigot supplies water to the pressure washing machine. With a power washer, the cool water is heated inside the machine, which has a heating coil. The power washer sends out heated, pressurized water for a deeper clean.

Always wear protective gear, including a mask, gloves, and eye goggles, whenever you’re dealing with high-pressure cleaning or cleaning with chemicals. But even if you’re just using plain water with your jet washer, don some gear to avoid splashing—especially from the hot water of a power washer—or any particles of dirt or debris that might fly off the surface as you clean it.

It is possible to pressure wash your deck, but it’s usually best to leave the work to a professional for two main reasons. First, power washers are expensive, and you can avoid high upfront costs by hiring a deck washing pro instead. Second, you must be careful to use the correct setting to avoid damaging your deck material. You can only clean soft woods like pine with a wide spray and a low pressure; otherwise, the water will leave unpleasant marks on your deck. Hard woods, composite material, and metal can stand up to increasingly higher water pressures.
