"I called David Athas for a quote to get a dryer vent installed. He called me back the same day and set an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time and gave me several different options on where I could install the vent. He recommended someone to do the plumbing. Both men were professional, on time and completed the work as promised. Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! "Called warranty repair, found out that it was done by a local provider (Flori Heating and Air). I called Flori to schedule an appointment, they were here on time and got things back up, running and cooling. Since it was 95 outside, I appreciated their sense of urgency and calm professionalism, not to mention the quick return of cold air coming out of my vents!"

"This is the second time I have used NE Renovations.    On a Saturday morning I discovered I had no heat, my heater would not come on.  I contacted the individual I had used in the past and was told they could not come out for a few days.  I sent an e-mail to Richard, the owner and he contacted me almost immediately.  He told me he could come out the same day to see what the problem was.

He showed up on Saturday on time as scheduled.  Unfortunately, the part I needed had to be ordered and he told me he would be over first thing Monday morning.  Sure enough he arrived at 8:00 am and his employee, Jimmy arrived shortly after.  It turned out additional parts had to be ordered.  Richard kept me informed of the progress all along.  After the parts were obtained, the heat was fixed and works great.
