"He never called and never showed up. I called him , it went to voice mail. He supposed to be here at 1 o'clock. I called him at 1:20 ,no answer. At 1:30, I called again and when I said I would put a very negative review he called saying that he has a flat tire and that he has limited service that's why he couldn't call. I am upset , extremely upset because I wasted my whole day waiting for him. There is something called common courtesy , If you are not coming , if you are going to be late then you call and you explain . You don't wait until somebody threaten to give you a negative review on Angi and then you get nervous. I wouldn't even give him a star . How do you expect him to run in business if he doesn't know how to return calls and this is confirmed twice , he called me twice and said that he was coming. This is extremely unprofessional."

The problems with composite decking include a high rate of expansion and contraction from temperature swings. This characteristic can cause boards to split, delaminate, or peel. While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.

Deck skirting shouldn’t touch the ground, especially if you have a wood deck, which is vulnerable to moisture. Ideally, you should leave at least 3/4 of an inch of space between the deck skirting and the ground for more ventilation. Pros also recommend that you incorporate about 1 square foot of space for ventilation for the underside of the deck to every 150 square feet of decking. Proper ventilation prevents mold growth and rot that can damage your deck.
