"Farris Lawn Care (Ryan) is the best. He returned my initial call within minutes and was prompt about arriving to give an estimate to the minute. He was patient, reliable, flexible and friendly. The work that we needed was a patio replaced. The job was for a family lake house, owned by 4 siblings. My siblings and I went back and forth as to what type of patio to install. Ryan provided us with written estimates for different types of patio via email same day. He arrived at our job everyday until completed, promptly. All 4 of the owners were delighted with his beautiful work.I would highly recommend Ryan.I would give him 100 stars if could!

Marble and Granite questions, answered by experts
Much like granite, as long as you properly seal your marble slab or tiles, it makes an excellent stain-resistant option for backsplashes. Marble is also durable, heat-resistant, and, of course, stylish. However, since marble is one of the priciest materials available, you may want to consider a less-expensive backsplash option, such as tile.
Tile flooring will last anywhere from 10 to 20 years and even up to 30 years or more with proper care and maintenance.
You can help your tile floor achieve a longer lifespan by maintaining it properly. This includes cleaning it regularly (including cleaning the tile floor grout), keeping the floor dry, and not setting super heavy items on it to keep it from cracking. You'll also want to regrout your tile floor every 10 years. Using a grout sealer will help your floor last longer.
Larger tiles can be difficult to install because they’re heavier and bulkier than their smaller counterparts, which makes them harder to haul around and put in place. Plus, if you don’t install the tiles correctly, they could crack or break. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a professional for large-format tile installation.
You can technically install tile over tile, but we don’t suggest it. Installing tile over any surface that isn’t a completely flat and prepared subfloor will result in a shoddy overall job, uneven flooring, tiles that don’t adhere, extra weight, gaps, cracks, and room for moisture and dirt to enter. For the best results, only install new tile on a flat, sanded surface like subflooring or concrete that is prepared for tile.
If you have asbestos tile and would rather tile over it than remove it, or if your existing tile is completely flat and bonded tightly to the floor, you may be able to tile over existing tile. But experts recommend thinking twice before you do.
No, you don’t technically need a cement backer board for a wall tiling project, but not using it risks disastrous moisture damage. Cement is naturally water-resistant, whereas drywall soaks it in, which can lead to warping or mold growth. Always use a backer board treated with a waterproof membrane for bathrooms and other chronically damp areas to ensure complete tile shower waterproofing.
