Not only do we warranty our products and workmanship, but we give everybody a 24 month price lock when purchasing at least 5 openings. Have peace of mind knowing the price will not change for the next 24 months and finish remodeling your home when it is affordable. We provide Energy Star and State/Federally regulated rated products to every homeowner. Although you will recognize most brands we carry, Collegiate Window Systems is not dedicated to any one manufacturer, therefore we can get you any product that you desire. Let us celebrate 25 years in the window replacement business by making you our newest customer that loves their renovations.

"Phil and Doug were wonderful to work with- very responsive, professional, and answered all of my questions. We replaced a regular window in our home with a 7 foot bay window, which is beautiful and we absolutely love it. My one complaint was that a hole in the wall underneath the window was left following the installation, as well as some cracks, which were patched with a foamy substance but not a proper smooth plaster repair job that could be painted. We had to take care of that repair ourselves. Otherwise, my experience was very positive."

Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Adding a window to a brick house costs $3,100 to $10,575. Because you’ll need to make changes to the structure of the home, the cost will include obtaining permits and hiring the best pros for this complex job. Larger windows will cost more to install, and the cost can vary based on the window frame material you choose.

Yes, you can fix windows without replacing them. However, this will depend on the severity of the issue and what your needs are. Minor water damage, broken glass, damaged casing, and worn caulking are usually easy repairs. But if there is excessive damage, the windows are constantly foggy, or the windows are very old, it’s best to consider replacing them. Replacement windows cost between $575 and $1,475 per window, or an average of $850 per window.

Professionals clean window screens the same way a homeowner can—by removing the screens and cleaning them with a sponge. A window cleaning pro may come with better equipment, like a high powered wet/dry vacuum or pressure washer to speed up the process and achieve a deeper clean.

Many windows carry warranties from the manufacturer or installer that may cover the cost of repairs for a fixed amount of time. When installing or replacing windows, ask about any applicable warranties, what kinds of damage and repair they may cover, and what the procedure is for making a warranty claim.

Solar screens use a thick mesh of polyester to block out the UV waves and solar heat. While they are more expensive at about $7.50 per square foot, they can protect your porch or hardwood floors from sun damage and keep the room or porch on the other side of the patio cool.
