"Was a little pricy. But you get what you pay for. Arrived when they said they would. Got right to work, didn't rush through the job. Cleaned up after themselves. Inspected the roof for any other potential problems. And as an added touch blew of all tree foliage that was laying on the roof with a blower leaving the roof clean. Very good work."

During a roof replacement or repair, roofers inspect the vent pipe flashing for damage, replace deteriorated seals, and ensure the pipe is properly integrated into the roofing system to prevent leaks. If the vent pipe itself is cracked or damaged, a plumber is usually required to replace it, while the roofer ensures the roofing components around the pipe remain watertight.

Roof raking can damage shingles if improperly done. Be sure to use a rake that’s designed specifically for removing snow from a roof, and don’t use excessive pressure. Light, consistent pressure to pull down the bulk of the snow is all that’s needed—if you clear right down to the shingles, you’re probably using too much force and risking roof damage.
