At Starling Tree, we understand the importance of preserving the beauty of your landscape while ensuring the safety and health of your trees. As skilled climbers, we can handle complex tree removals, where precision and attention to detail are paramount, while leaving your landscaping intact. We are fully equipped to handle all of your arboricultural projects, large or small, employing our tractor and other heavy equipment when needed. Our range of services includes tree removal (whether dead, downed, emergency, or aesthetic), pruning (from deadwooding, to brown tail moth removal, or fruit tree maintenance), fungicide application (treating fireblight and other fungal tree diseases). We are licensed and insured and always prioritize safety above all else.

"Matt is very open and ethical. He is willing ro adjust a cost factor when discussed opening with the client. Having certain equipment on hand that must be a separate item to be paid for, i.e., a Lift ($700.00) and having additional time available for its use with unaccountable trees, was gracious. When he says he will be there at a certain time, he is. His expertise is impeccable. He works focused and does not wast time. He thinks through a problem before acting. He has a definite manner in cutting down trees that is both safe and productive. He works well with a "helper" via open ommunication. Safety is ;primary. His use of the Lift was amazing. "

Acrylic latex paint is the best option to use on your outdoor wrought iron fence, because it holds up well against the elements. Use a high-quality, exterior-grade paint specifically designed for use on metal. You can choose between spray paint or regular liquid paint. As for primer, it's best to use an oil-based and rust inhibiting option before painting your wrought iron fence.

Moisture and rot are the largest threat to wooden fences. Stain can help your wood fence last 15 to 20 years, but only if you choose a stain with waterproofing qualities or add a sealant. Oil-based stains create a thicker moisture barrier than water-based stains, though both are mold and mildew resistant. You’ll generally need to re-stain your fence every one to eight years to get full protection.

It typically takes 1-3 days, depending on weather, fence size, and drying times between coats, particularly for thorough coverage conditioning.

For the best results, you should apply two coats of paint to your wrought iron fence. Let your first coat dry for about an hour then promptly apply your second coat.

If you want to achieve a deeper, darker stain color, wait 5 to 10 minutes before wiping it off. However, wipe it off faster for a lighter tone. When wiping off the stain during this part of the process, be sure to work in the direction of the wood’s grain for best results.
