"Mack's Home Services is a very professional company. He explained every step of what he was doing and what was found. He was very courteous and open to questions. He did a great job cleaning my ducts and with the post flood mold abatement. I would recommend him to anyone in need of his services!"

"I purchased a stove from Masters in December 2012. They were excellent with helping me select the right stove. Installation went well and I was happy with my pellet stove. I called for service in October 26, 2012, and the owner told me that since I had burned less than 50 bags of pellets since I bought my stove, that I probably did not need to get it cleaned just yet. I thought it was good of the owner to give me this advice as it let me know that he was ethical and would not schedule service if I did not need it. I schedule an appointment anyway because I had already planned for it in my yearly schedule along with my furnance.
After my service appointment, I called the owner on November 1, 2012, to let him know that my stove was putting ash on my wall near the window and that the panel behind the stove was separated about 3/4 of an inch from the wall on the left side where the electrical plug comes out. I told him that I noticed when the technician serviced the stove that he had a hard time putting it back in place. I asked him to send someone out to check the stove and to install it properly (make it flush with the fireplace wall) like it was before it was serviced. He told me that when they get another service call for my area that he would call me and let me know they were in the area. I told him that I wanted him to schedule me as soon as possible and he laughed at me and said you want me to send someone out to push the panel back against the wall. He insisted that the stove was OK and I could still use it. I told him that I was uncomfortable with using it while it was putting ash on the wall and that I would not be using it until he resent someone out to check it. He said that was my choice.
Therefore, I am waiting on a call from the owner to let me know when they will be in my area. I will follow-up later with the outcome.

"Their team came and cleaned my house on Thursday 11/13. I requested 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room to be cleaned. They did a bit more than I had asked for but I was beyond happy with the job they did. When I got home everything was shining and smelled amazing and just looked beautiful. I will definitely be asking them to come back on a more regular basis. I highly recommend this company for any of your cleaning needs."

"I sold my 3-story townhouse and was in need of cleaning services once the movers packed and emptied the house. Isabela and her team did a great deal with my move out service. The house was spic and span clean and smelled really good. Isabela communicated well with me throughout the process of setting and appointment date and time, and arriving as expected. She completed all of the expected work on time and was a pleasure to work with."

FAQs for deck cleaning projects in Owings, MD

The average cost to hire a house cleaner is between $30 and $50 per hour. Costs vary depending on house size, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the type of cleaning you want. Deep cleaning will be more expensive since it requires more time and effort to move furniture and clean hard-to-reach areas compared to a standard cleaning session.

There are a few ways to make your deck look new without professional power washing. First, you can use either store-bought cleaners or dish soap and water to mop your deck regularly to clean off accumulated dirt. To clean your deck and remove mold, mix two gallons of warm water with a ½ cup of distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar, rinse the area, and then scrub with a stiff-bristled broom.

The cost to professionally pressure wash your deck is $150 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $600, depending on the size of your deck and its condition.

For an average deck of about 300 square feet, you can expect to pay around $100. However, if you have a spacious 1,000-square-foot deck or more, expect that cost to be closer to $300 to $400. Likewise, if it’s been a long time since you deep cleaned your deck, the deck professional might need extra time and to use deck-specific detergent, which will increase the overall cost.

The average house cleaner cost is around $180, which should cover about four hours of work. However, each project is different and costs can range from $100 to $1,000, depending on the house size and the cleaning needed. Other cost factors can include your location and what level of cleaning you want. Standard or basic cleaning may include vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting the kitchen and bathrooms. Deep cleaning costs about twice as much and often includes cleaning behind and underneath furniture, washing windows, and polishing hard-to-clean surfaces. Emergency cleaning, extreme cleaning, and holidays also impact pricing. Move-in and move-out cleaning typically cost more, too, because of the extensive, whole-house cleaning involved.

Although tipping is not a requirement, many people tip house cleaners around 10% to 15% of the final cleaning cost. Some people tip as much as 20% or more, but it’s up to your discretion. Rather than tipping each cleaning session, you can also tip monthly or give the house cleaner a holiday bonus. There are no rules for tipping, but if your house cleaner did a great job it’s encouraged.
