"I’m back again to write another stellar review for GAC. Last year they replaced our HVAC system; this year we circled back and had them install a home generator. This was a long and drawn out process due to the various approvals needed from Montgomery County as well as coordination with Washington Gas (which ended up not just being a simple sign off but necessitating an additional, expensive upgrade to the gas line from the street to our home). Nevertheless, GAC did a fantastic job shepherding this process over the 6+ months of waiting on stakeholders, and they were also maximally accommodating to our family’s significant constraints on time and availability (due to health concerns related to a medically fragile family member). A special kudos to Sandy M, GAC’s master electrician, who took it on personally to ensure we were taken care of all throughout this process, going above and beyond with phone calls, text messages, personal visits, etc. on behalf of my family, I want to thank GAC and am giving top marks across the board for this effort which was complex , lengthy, and ultimately successful."

"I hired K & K to install a range hood. There was no electrical there previously so they had to run electric. I also had them install a new light fixture and remove an exhaust fan. K & K did excellent work and even repaired an electrical box that another contractor had installed. I was given a great estimate and was charged the estimate price. "Russell was prompt, very polite and helpful. He explained everything and pointed out where my old rowhouse differs from newer codes. (Grandfathered until I want to sell.) There was an upsell on an annual plan, but it will save some 15% on some planned upgrades, so I went with it. Dawn, office support, also was friendly and pleasant to work with. She gave me a follow-up call next morning after my multi-company query through Angie's. My inquiry detailed list of three small repairs did not get other takers, so no real cost comparison, but I feel the price was fair-- $500 for about 2 hours, including the plan and dispatch fee."

"They checked my generator and said nothing was wrong, that the problem was probably with the electric companies transformer. My problem still exist. The electric company sent people out to check the current coming to my house and said everything is okay. They are going to install a monitor to check what is going on when there is an outage. So as of now my generator does not come on."
