"David was friendly and professional. He did not charge me a crazy overhead for anything and he was totally fine with me providing the bulk of the materials (other companies I talked to gave me trouble there). I think the price was just right for the amount and quality of the work done. I would definitely use Stiffler Electric again and recommend them to family and friends."

"The 27/4 Contracting Pro politely introduced himself and pull a protective mask before entering my home. I explained exactly the removal of old computer and Verizon Router and to install the new Dell computer and upgraded Verizonâ s Router. The Pro did the installation with excellency and great care and clean up neatly. I will hire the Pro again without hesitation!"

"They came in and fixed our phone system and it is working great. The only problem I have is that the technician was suppose to get back in touch for some additional business and it's been over a week and I have not heard back. Tried to email them, but it was invalid. I have their number but I do not think I will be calling because they cannot remember to follow up on service."

Phone Repair questions, answered by experts

Fabric tears, faded material, broken frames, and malfunctioning retractable mechanisms often need professional attention.

Most smartphone repair specialists can replace your phone screen in 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the model. The repair could take longer if components under the screen are also damaged and need to be replaced. If you attempt to do the work yourself using a phone screen repair kit, set aside one to two hours to learn the correct steps and implement them carefully.

Repairs take 2-6 hours, but extensive frame replacements may extend the timeline.

While you can purchase a DIY phone screen replacement kit, it is generally not recommended. Replacing a phone screen is a complicated process that requires experience. Common mistakes during a DIY repair include damaging internal components when opening the phone, breaking internal pieces during removal, and failing to properly calibrate the new screen. These errors can lead to poor functionality, such as ghost touches or a partially working screen, and could even cause your phone to fail completely. For these reasons, it's best to hire a professional phone repair technician. If you make a mistake attempting the repair yourself, you may end up needing to pay a professional anyway, increasing your total cost.

Several apps are available for the iPhone that claim to measure the humidity in your home. However, to get the most accurate results, you'll most likely need a separate piece of equipment with a built-in hygrometer to use your iPhone to check room humidity. For example, the HomePod smart speaker has a humidity sensor, so you can use it to track humidity levels with your iPhone.
