"Robbie is polite and knowledgeable. He has done other work for us in the past which overall was very good. He quoted a certain price which we understood would cover the work to be done, but when the time came to do it, we had to spend more and eliminate several aspects to cover the total cost. It is possible that this was just a misunderstanding, since he is pretty casual about contract details. I agree with the other reviewers that rated his company a B overall: beware of his subcontractors which make serious as well as cosmetic mistakes and be aware that he may take weeks or months to contact you, unless it's an emergency. I also thought his price estimates were in the high range, although I believe the finished project was probably higher quality than much less expensive contractors."

"Salesman was friendly and very knowledgable, assuring me the installation could be done even in the room under the garage with a cement ceiling. The salesman was also very accommodating when I had to reschedule the installation date due to unavoidable medical events. The workers, Matt and Scott, were awesome! They put cloth tarps over the carpeting and wore covers on their shoes to keep things as clean as possible. Ceiling tiles were carefully moved and replaced during the job and they couldn't have been more detailed and polite. During the job they would let me know what they were going to do and would check with me to make sure the placement of the units suited me. I really like that they allowed me to be involved with some of the decisions, so I would be happy with the final outcome. They vacuumed and cleaned up after the job. The only glitch we had was the salesman didn't show up at the start of the job, as he promised, due to an unavoidable family problem, which delayed Scott and Matt from starting on the first day. It was tricky feeding the tubing neatly through the wall and into the room under the garage and they needed his direction. The salesman showed up as quickly as he could, but he was visibly upset and started to blame me for holding up the job. He quickly directed his attention to solving the problem and moved on, which was more appropriate. He got the problem solved quickly and the solution was fabulous and looks great! I would highly recommend this company. Scott and Matt did a beautiful job, took their time and worked as though they were installing the equipment in their own home, with care and detail. "Family run business. Pride of ownership is reflected in their work. I was taken by another company. When they took my lightning rods down to get a new roof, they basically shredded my cable. Also the screws that were used by the previous installer were not correct. William pointed out the issues and worked out a fair price. I was given new lightning rods too! Oh and I received a weather vane. Here it is storming and lightning today and I feel very safe. So glad to have worked with this company!"

The work is well done and finished very nicely; they were efficient and friendly. Work included framing, drywall, trim, suspended ceiling and painting, plus installation of several electrical outlets and ceiling fixtures."

The two technicians that performed the work " ( Thomas and Ramon ) " were very professional and knowledgeable with explaining in detail each step performed. "Ethan, the sales associate did a great job explaining how Renken does their work and the selection of patterns was in the color range that my wife was interested in. Mahadi was the installer and did a superb job. Great eye for detail and excellent finish. He asked questions to confirm what I wanted or to clarify something. He got the job done in 2 days which included removing moldy green board, replacing one stud which had mold. He treated everything and then did the sealer before installing the finished surface. One other thing...we covered everything in the bedroom with drop cloths but we didn't have a lot of dust. Mahadi didn't use a sledge to knock down walls. He cut out each section and carried it out of the house, minimizing the amount of dust and debris. My wife was REALLY HAPPY about that. There was a little mix up on the shower style but that was resolved the next day by Dan. He was punctual and made sure that everything operated as desired. Amber and Ebony in the office do a great job. Amber does the scheduling and Ebony does the customer service. Both are tops and really make a difference to make sure that my wife and I were satisfied. We are happy with the workmanship and service. Yes, I would recommend Renken to friends and have already had a personal contact ask who did our remodel."
