"Austin Wells handled our sinking concrete pad and cracks near my garage. He explained everything, neat, and very professional. My wife and I appreciated how he wore a uniform and conducted himself in as an expert in his field. I would definitely call JES again, in particular, Austin Wells to handle any other concrete leveling issues."

"I had really fallen behind in my yard work. I had not been able to do my back yard in more than 3 years because as soon as I did one side of the front yard, the weeds were back on the other side. My husband and I used to handle it together, but since he passed away, doing it alone was overwhelming. I found this company on Home Advisor. I got 2 other quotes which were way out of my budget. Will';s price was the lowest by more than half. He is not trying to take you to the cleaners. His people spent 2 days on my yard and I could not be more pleased. They arrived with everything they needed. Asked me for approval along the way and cleaned up. I am going to get them to do work inside the house also."

"

Marvin is very conscientious business man. He showed up when he said he would, worked under some of the hottest conditions imaginable to complete the work as scheduled. When a couple of issues arose he returned and redid things until I was 100% satisfied.

One of my neighbors saw his work and contracted him for concrete work at his house. He ensures customer is completely satisfied and is a man who keeps his word. I would definitely hire him again

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.

It restores concrete, prevents replacement cost disruptions, reduces trip hazards, and provides stability at a lower cost.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

Common issues with concrete that may require professional repair or resurfacing include cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces, and weather damage.

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.
