"We have used GMB in the past and on this occasion we just moved into a new home and had 11 new recessed lights , new center lights, and closet light installed. We needed the work done prior to moving in. They went out of their way to rush and rearranged their schedule to accomodate me, starting promptly at 7am (as they said they would). Everything was completed so we could finish moving into our new home the same day, with no interruption. The workmanship was great (My wife and daughter were all smiles) and there was no mess to clean up after. Given the fact they had to rip up all the floorboards in the attic and drill all the light holes, I would have expected something.
The value, quality, and professionalism at a fair price cannot be beaten. I very rarely make recommendations but based upon my experience(s) , I will continue to do business with the company and highly recommend them to others as a first choice.

"Everything turned out fine. When it first arrived, it was damaged in the shipping. It took them quite a while to get something back to us, or even to call me back when I wrote to them. But then, once they got the ball rolling, it went very quickly. It took them probably about a month to even get back to me. The price was very good. Once somebody actually did speak with me, they were very responsive. They were pretty professional when I spoke to them. I just think that they were light on manpower."

He came right out and quickly determined that the main feed to the breaker panel was faulty and needed replacement. Because it was a safety issue, he postponed other work and fixed our issue right away. Additionally, he took what had been a pretty sloppy installation and cleaned it up to be safe and professional. "I just moved into my new home and needed someone to mount my tv and audio visual equipment. I had heard of George through a friend who hired him and had a great experience. I had spoken to some people before that had higher quotes for this kind of work, but George said it would cost about $2000! I was thrilled. "Janice was on time for our 90 minute consult.  We discussed where new ceiling lights should go, that I should paint every inch of wood , baseboards, doors, window trim on the first floor with the 1 color she showed me, she showed me the 1 color that we should use on every wall on the entire first floor, said to carpet the stairs to the second floor,   and she appeared to be ready to leave after 1 hour.    



She was very nice, but I got the impression both of us felt rushed because she is a decorator and our home is in a state of transition- far from the point of hanging pictures, curtains, picking out types of furniture and so on.  I am fairly sure that if I were at the decorating phase though, and if she could have focused on decorating 1 room, she would shine and make it beautiful.



She did leave after 75 minutes, saying she had another appointment and I thanked her for her time and she left. On her way out she was happily surprised to have me open  a door off our kitchen leading to the front door.  She said we should leave that door open, that it improved the flow.  She is an experienced decorator but unfamiliar with the Garrison Colonial floor plan I guess.       







When I am ready to decorate, I will consider her again,  as she was professional and friendly."

"Sara Ibora, the designer,  is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. She listened to our ideas, showed us different styles and layouts she had done and then visited our home to get a feel for the project and take measurements/pictures. Once we had a basic concept in mind, Sara went back and developed some plans along with illustrations to show us how it would all come together. She worked with the contractors to make sure that our dreams could fit into the budget we planned for the project -even with all the upgrades we needed to bring our home up to code. 
The cabinetry she recommended is beautifully made and totally fits our house. From ordering to delivery  there weren't any problems - everything was packed nicely and labeled properly - everything arrived undamaged, and the contractor had no problems with assembly.
After the kitchen was finished in April, Sara contacted us twice after to make sure that everything was OK and to see if she there was anything we wanted to change or add. We thought of a wine rack and she had someone in her office drop it off at the house for no extra charge."

"Brenda's design changed a cramped, very ordinary bathroom into something that looks much more attractive but is also much more usable - larger tub, good lighting, more cabinet space. She did a good job of supervising the carpenter, plumber, and electrician to make sure the job was done correctly and helped solve any issues or problems that came up."
